  1. hell yeah its a work shop manual . it will have EVERYTHING
  2. 205/60R15 15x6jj +40 poverty pack 205/60R15 15x6.5jj +40 " " 205/55R16 16x7jj +40 rs four 215/50R17 17x7jj +30 rs four s as in the factory crud manual . its in japanese but its pretty clear what the numbers . obviously the "peverty pack " bit isnt in the manual but yeah . dont know for 260 rs unless they come with same figures as rs four s but one would assume thay have wider rims
  3. i had a 32 actuator wiating here before i got my stag . then i find out that the rsfours models run ten psi anyway . plenty of people in NZ runnin the 32 actuator on rb25dets . good idea in my oppinion . real nice and reliable . stable boost . really no down sides. bolts straight on cheap too . 20-30 $ if you get one on a good day
  4. it lets the computer know that you want it to be in 2wd as opposesd to just half arse disabling it . have done it on axle stands and fronts did not move at all signalling no residual pressure in the clutch system at all . also if you do this as well as removing the drive shaft the ABS will not have a spazz as can happen if just pulling the fuse .
  5. sorry never mind.
  6. where did you get kPa from ?
  7. remembering that most 4wd stageas have an open rear diff: coming out of the main loom under the dash, slightly to the right of the steering column is a small loop (1 wire in it) with a plug in the middle unplug this plug (has plastic tabs holding it together - can take some fiddling) start the car, and pump the brake pedal quickly until the 4wd light starts flashing, if you dont pump it enough the 4wd light will come on solid if i recall. flashing = 2wd solid = air purge mode plug it back in when you are done.
  8. and ofcours having a high flowed turbo and full exhaust will give you more boost . all depends on what waste gate actuator you have . the ecu can not make it run any less boost than the pressure required to over come the waste gate spring
  9. i believe the increased boost coincides with the extra ten NM of torque claimed on the rs 4 s models over everything else aswell
  10. man just search it . i fully put up a topic like a week ago about this. +7 on that gauge equalls like exactly ten psi. (9.97666 blah blah something). rs four s models run ten pound all the way through from the factory . i also have a defi gauge in mine and it reads .7 kgf/cm which is also ten psi . front torque gauge moves anytime you get the rear wheels to break traction eg hard launches or oversteer round a corner or grass/snow
  11. oh k sweet another one . just another reason why the neo is better then non neo 25t , contrary to popular opinion of all the half wits in nz
  12. yerah i agree with you guys aye . sometimes if you are taking off during a 3 piont turn ie taking off while on full lock and give it a bit of boost it has real heavy steering but goes away straight meh . i like it how it is tho . seems to be set up at a farily good ratio for how i like my steering . two hands when you boostin it and light as when cruising on thw high way
  13. my rs four s has one . no idea what it is . only spotted it the other day . my guess is oil temp eg gti-r and gtr . what gauges does a 34 gtt have in it stock ? could always measure the resistance across it and see if it changes with engine revs of no change compare it when car is warm
  14. yeah i know exactly what/where the boost controll soleniod is and how it works and everything and dont need a picture to know what one is . and about the two stage boost controll . it all appears stock . soleniod is still plugged in and plumbed in . my gauge is plumbed in right next to the sender for the stock boost guage . it has its own line coming out of manifold and it lives by where the throttle cable goes through the fire wall . also appears to go straight to .7kgf/m regardles of rpm. in saying that it certainly goes real hard and pulls from real low . tuning appears pretty good too. got just over 400 kays from 3/4 of a tank to the fuel light just turned on . not bad for the first 3 weeks of ownership which including taking everyone for "new car man take us for a fang round the block " maybe my car has a r32 turbo actuator on it , had one here for it anyway so will compare them one day also the "s" is quoted as having ten more newton meters of torque over the autos meh . interesting none the less
  15. there is a yellow rs four s on a lot here in ch ch NZ with the DRV meter in it
  16. just put a defi boost gauge on my rs 4 s . is completly stock apart from stainless cat back jasma exhaust . according to defi recall its running the tiniest bit over .7 kgf/cm . which is ten psi . mind you the factory guage also goes up to +7 x 100mmHg which also converts to 13 psi ... am i stupid or do all neo's run ten psi factory ?
  17. had my cover off today and there is a line running from the afore mentioned intake pipe to what looks like something similar to an oil pressure sender unit its on the line coming out of the power steer pump. has another line coming off it that is dissapears down by the block . and by heavier steering i mean it has more feel and need to hold on tighter . by no means is it heavy heavy
  18. yeah good piont but nah . havent even taken it for a drive that would anywhere near warm the ps fliud up . yet . only had the car two weeks. been away for work and sheit
  19. anyone know what the hose running from the intake pipe closest to the jay pipe to the back of the power steering pump is for ? some days i seem to have vairing degrees of feel to the steering . appears to get heavier when driving spiritedly and quite light when just cruising . any thoughts ? 99 RS four S
  20. howdy . notice your car has a hose coming out of the intake plumbing (the pipe before the j pipe) does your one go to the power steering pump like mine does? what did you connect it to after you put the fmic piping kit on?
  21. just got my stagea . 99RS four S . 14400 on the raod nz$ . 111xxx kays . insanely mint condition. everything is spotless. came with ten stack cd changer and ski racks and stainless jasma cat back exhaust . not bad for my first car ha ha . have since put a decent head unit in it and a GFB 4 in 1 hybrid BOV on it . waiting in the back room for it is a hybrid gt spec front mount kit , a stainless seperated dump pipe and a rb20det waste gate actuator
  22. howdy im puttin one of these on a series 2 25det . have scavanged a series 1 ignitor and the loom to the coils . also cut the plug for the ignitor off the engine bay loom in the donor car . wiring the ignitor to the new coils is easy but could you help me out with wiring thw ignitor th the existing loom in the series 2 ? any help /photos greatly appreciated lachlan
