Sandown rd entrance and the just go and park in the pits area. Thats where everyone parks (and yes its free)
-
Pfft - I'll be at Winton on the 16th and Sandown on the 17th. We'll just see you in November Pete.
-
Yeah but Bris this is quicker than your car.
-
Hey Bris, Since you seem to know so much baout this car - how does it stack up against say Benno's or Sams? BTW - Russ - you know about the Nov NSW excursion right? John (UAS) said he spoke to you about it and it would be awesome if you guys can make it down too.
-
Haha - so what you are saying is that it won't pass the 90dB limit het Bris?? Speaking of - Russ did they actually check anyone this year for dB as they have been harping on it in all their emails etc.
-
LOL - I was going to say that this isn't exactly motokhana friendly! The R32 I trust will be ready for Vic though Russ? Changing the Sunday to Sandown has really made Vic a GT-R event as Sandown is a drag strip like QR. My new engine finally goes back in tonight so hopefully by the weekend we'll know how ready we'll be for you this year.

Australian Mark Webber will partner Briton David Coulthard at Red Bull next season, the Formula One team announced. After being replaced by one Austrian, test driver Alexander Wurz who will race for Williams in 2007, it was the 29-year-old Australian's turn to oust another. Webber will take the place of young Austrian Christian Klien at the team owned by energy drink billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz. "We chose him for a number of straightforward reasons," said team boss Christian Horner. "One, he obviously has undoubted speed and ability and, two, he appears to have the determination and motivation needed to succeed. "We're entering an exciting new phase in the short history of Red Bull Racing and Mark was an obvious candidate to us." Next year's Red Bull car will be the first overseen by Adrian Newey, the top designer behind a string of titles for Williams and McLaren. The move also reunites Webber with many former colleagues from his days at Jaguar, the team Mateschitz bought from Ford and renamed after his product. "I believe I am joining the team at exactly the right time for success in the future," said the driver. "After I left Jaguar Racing at the end of the 2004 season and discovered that Mr Mateschitz was taking over the team, I said that I felt the team had been placed in very good hands and had an assured future. "I hope that with Red Bull Racing I can have my best F1 season to date and believe that we can be very, very strong together," added Webber. Red Bull are using Ferrari engines but speculation has suggested they could switch to Renault V8 units next year with sister team Toro Rosso taking over the Ferrari contract. Webber is managed by Renault team boss Flavio Briatore and had been linked to the champions as a possible successor to Spaniard Fernando Alonso when the champion joins McLaren at the end of the year. The Australian's move now makes it almost certain that Finnish test driver Heikki Kovalainen will get Renault's second seat alongside Italian Giancarlo Fisichella if they cannot secure the services of McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen. Raikkonen is expected to join Ferrari. Coulthard, now 35, was delighted to be given a third season with the team after securing their first podium with third place in Monaco this year. "I can feel that the team is really beginning to gel as a group," said the Scot. "I'm looking forward to raising the performance of the team and the car and to see Red Bull Racing become a regular points scorer, in with a good shout for achieving podiums and wins."

It's official - Webber to Red Bull for 2007.

I heard you were building an EVO 9 (which I was most disappointed to hear) but unless you are putting an RB engine into an EVO then I take it those rumours are false. So which car are you bringing to Vic (I take it you are coming to Vic yeah?)
-
Well since we've now already won our 58-0 bet against thise 2 hacks by default is there anyone else out there up for the challenge for Dutton Vic?? Looks an awesome layout this year with 2 days at DECA and now Sandown thrown into the mix. Should be a much better GT-R event now.

It can't be any more scary than what trying to show Brisby around was.
-
Fingers Crossed I'm there.

Ah Russ The Brakes! (It has a whole new meaning now). Sorry to hear mate and I hope you get it all sorted out ok. Although maybe if it's only half fixed by September that won't be a bad thing. Infact Duncan - how much do I owe you to not give Russ a controller before Oct? lol
-
Anyone know the results from QLD? How'd Russ and Mark go?
-
I'm subscribed to Auto Action. Otherwise I don't buy magazines unless I'm in them. lol
-
Nope - you don't get to go on the list.
-
And another one for Juz as I know she was disappointed that we didn't do this one last night. If anyone else wants to photoshop Juz feel free to join in!
-
For those that wanted the photoshopped pics from last night here they are. I do think you will have to agree that Juz does look pretty good in a rubber nurses outfit. Dane I think you'll have to go shopping mate.
-
Will (and anyone that wants to know) the reason we changed the jacket design (from the jacket where the vest zips in) was after getting the original sample we discovered that the piping on the sleeves on the other jackets was only 6cm appart. This meant that the logo's on the arms would be overlapping the piping and would look stupid. The new design allows the logo's to fit in between the piping. Plus the jackets and vests we actually got are nicer than the original ones anyways.
-
Ok - for those that want to play along as we go and follow the steps you will obviously need a copy of photoshop (sorry I can't help you with that) and a copy of the following pictures. matrix.bmp
-
Whats that? Juz is volunteering to be photoshopped! Ok cool!
-
Was that aimed at me??
