  1. mate - it was already edited!
  2. Guys, if you are reading this before you fax me your forms this morning - put your club name down as Skylines Australia Victoria! We'll make them learn to fear the big SAV.
  3. Ok - now I understand. You DELUSIONAL! You should have just said so at the start!
  4. Ni - you are still missing the point. Read the following from the Vic Road web site: An applicant for a Rally permit must be a member of a car club affiliated with a VicRoads approved National Motorsport organisation (ie. Confederation of Australian Motorsport) and be the holder of either: National Rally Licence (or a higher level competition licence); or an international Rally Licence However: The operator of the vehicle must be the holder of a: current National Rally Licence (or higher level competition licence) or; a current International Rally Licence an alternative competition licence approved by VicRoads So I'll say it again. Having a normal track day CAMS licence will be sufficient for you to DRIVE the car - and you will need one to drive it at any time - but you can't register it with just one of those. You will need a Rally Licence to register it.
  5. Its free for spectators mate.
  6. The closing date is tomorrow.
  7. I dunno if I can afford to do both to be honest. But again - since I am there I might as well just not eat for the week and do this instead.
  8. Yeah this is true - but everyone also knows that insurance companies won't ensure you when you are on the track. So this is why Skylines weren't the centre piece. Just wait til exitfilms do a commercial for something that involves hot chicks in bikini's - thats when the Bayside Blue GTR's come into their own!
  9. I tried to look into doing the Michelin experience - its by invitation only. So it can't be done. Not sure about the BMW thing - I will find out. Its all part of my 30th B'Day pressy from my oldies / bribe to make me have kids next year. Plan on visiting the Nur ring as well. Want to hire a porka and go there! lol.
  10. The best ferodo comprimise pad is the ferodo 2500's. They are the stock pads on cars like the AMG mercs. Great track pad for your usual "sprint" sessions but may start to fade if you do an extended 8+ laps in one session. The 3000 are farken noisey. But god damn they work good! So far for the HSV day I have confirmed: Snowman Emre Duncan Skylinegeoff Attached is the sup regs. I will bring some tonight in case - but I have to have these faxed off by tomorrow morning.
  11. move starts at 9:00pm.
  12. *cough* GRAND FINAL (go Saints!) *cough* Am going to try am make it to Calder however in October.
  13. Troy mate. I'm going to Europe for the Monaco GP next year. I am then going to do a BMW track day at Hockenhiem. I'm thinking we'll have to link up mate!
  14. It's not GTR Blue or Nismo Blue - its BAYSIDE Blue! GET IT RIGHT!
  15. Use Elf BFK-07! Best 98RON fuel available!
  16. Ok guys - I have been rung by IMAX and they have asked if we can all meet at 8:30 as they want to do all the tickets at once! So we'll meet in the cafe/bar there at 8:30. Please dont be late or else you may be paying an extra $4.5!
  17. Ok - thought I'd put this in a new thread just to grap all of you interested parties attention. Just recieved an email from Chris (event co-ordinator) that there has been some cancellations and they now have room for 8 more people to the HSV Day at Phillip Island on Sept 19th. You guys still interested? I have to fax him the details of everyone that wants to participate by Friday morning. Also - just to throw a spanner in the works - that weekend at Winton they are having an open weekend. The Saturday will be like the usual Fridays ($100 with 30min sessions between cars and bikes) and the Sunday will be another $20 Fun Day. No CAMS license required for anyone that wants to go to these days at Winton but you will need a helmet.
  18. You can drive the car on a L2S - but you need at least an R3 (National Rally Licence) to register it. And thats $$$ per year!
  19. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/vrne/vrnint...nDocument&Area=[Online+Information+&+Services] Definitely says National Rally License or higher. I only say all this cause we were looking into it for a modified R32 GTR and in the end I dont think it could be done.
  20. Again - I thought you had to have a min R3 license too.
  21. yep. Ash is organising all the tops now. If possible come down on Sunday and say hi to him so he can organise everything for you.
  22. you may need to investigate this further. I dont think just any car can get a rally permit. It has to meet one of the rally catagory specifiactions I think you will find.
  23. No denhan - the year one is $83 or whatever it is. When you fill in the form there is a slip on the back that is valid for 30 days - this covers you until your real CAMS license comes in the mail. If you come down to the meet on Sunday I can sign you up for a CAMS license.
  24. Chris - yep sent my form in today. Duncan - I have also sent a form in for you as it has to be in by tomorrow (stupid 10 day rule). Another topic - the entry forms for the Maserati Club are now available. If we are going to do this we should get our forms in ASAP! Forms available here: http://www.maserati.org.au/download/pdf-fi...y/san0410SR.pdf
