too expensive, they use the same hardware as the AVCR don't they? have heard bad things about AVCR (although it would be handy to fiddle with the boost via the HC)

Yes they are. I have a Blitz CS which retains the factory piping, so the engine bay looks IDENTICAL

brand new gizzmo ms-ibc or second hand blitz dsbc spec s? gizzmo is a bit more $$, but still within budget. GO.

^^ Heaps. intercoolers aren't exactly very technology-intensive, unlike turbos for example. the justjap ones still have a decent core, they aren't the worst ones you can buy put it that way. that said i have a blitz CS and love it

the pressure drop from the intercooler should be minimal if you have a decent item, so it doesn't matter too much. i have factory cooler piping (Blitz CS ftw) so i just use the factory nipple

i've been quoted $275 for a KU36 in that size... shop around

should be a nipple in your intercooler piping mate.. if you aren't running a boost controller then just go straight from actuator to there.
