  1. Ive got a m20 mongoose in mine, it's just an immibiliser with a vercinity sensor fob that disarms when my keys go near the ignition. It works really well except my spare fob wasn't programed so it doesn't work . Just an option if you want to keep your stock buttons.
  2. Lol. Why do I keep seeing people buying cheap coil packs, if you can't afford splitfires. Just save until you can afford them. They are the only one that no one has has fail for poor quality.
  3. Hey I'm after some roof rail plates, the metal strip that runs the length if the roof that the rail bolts into, I don't need the rail, would be too heavy for post anyway. I want to see if u can make my own roof rail deleters Thanks
  4. I paid about $780 for mine. I use it mayb 2 times a year.
  5. A guy at work had one of those black ford coupes ( mad Max car, one of 20 black ones ) sold for less then $20k in his divorce. . Normal sale price closer to $100k in the same condition.
  6. ^what iamhe said. Or 25litre drums. Edit - I didn't want to buy the turbolight.
  7. It's just annoying that motul is only 4litre bottles when we need almost 6 liters to an oil change.
  8. I doubt that anyone would be bored enough to search forums for illegally modded cars and I'm not worried about the police anyway, It's those damn purple lighted cars I'm scared of, I see them about once a year driving around and they can actually defect a car. All police written defects I've gotten have been removed without touching a thing. But the rta guys know what is and isn't legal so they always get me.
  9. I didn't want to go too expensive since I do oil changes bimonthly but if it's good oil it's probably worth it. I think I might try the motul turbo light first and see how it goes., I use motul in my motorbike and I've never had any issues. Edit. Motul comes in 4 liter or 25 litre drums. Who sells gulf western?
  10. Group 4 or 5 ????? Im lost. The oils in the stages parts thread aren't on the shelves anywhere near me( Autobarn, 2x repcos, 4x supercheaps)
  11. What oil does everyone recommend. I hope people look in here I didn't want to start a new thread. I've always used penrite but people on here said not to use it. Also. How many liters of coolant do I need?
  12. On a side note, my wife complains that I dont let her feed for me more often(she bakes daily just so I have snacks at work, she makes my lunch everyday and breakfast on weekends and she cooks my dinner on nights that I don't get take away) she does all the washing, cleans the house, helps me work on my cars (even does stuff on them when I'm at work if I need her to, removing/installing turbos is her best skill, small hands lol) and to put it plainly bed manor isn't a problem. Maybe I'm just lucky
  13. My oil drain is a solid custom bent pipe with a rubber joiner on each end so im pretty sure it can't kink. I'm going to buy some more pipe tonight and try again. Steel pipe is about 1/4 the price of silicon hose so I would prefer to make a full steel intake if I can.
  14. "Challenge accepted". Hmmmm r32 gtr $5000. Now just need a supra.
  15. A guy I work with has a 500kw supra and it's plenty quick enough.
  16. I've run a single cell for over 4 years in the stagea and 3 years prior in one of old cars and never had any issue with the police. But they did both shoot flames quite happily on down shifts.
  17. Lol imagine a 4wd supra.
  18. Ok so I've attempted to make a 3inch intake pipe to suit a pod filter, turns out not such a good idea, I either have to buy an Apexi filter or have another atemp at finding tighter mandrel bends . I was trying to limit welds but I might have to admit defeat and weld 4/5 bends together to get the right shape to use the stock air box.
  19. You make a point. I've never driven a vq25 so I can't really complain.
  20. For me it's the reliability of a Toyota motor. The only thing worse then a Nissan motor is a vw/Audi engine
  21. On a side note. There is an adaptor that let's you use the Nissan 4wd gearbox behind a *jz engine. Not sure if it will suit the m35 auto but it does fit the c34 manual box. I looked into it a while ago.
  22. Ok well thanks to my wife. I have my water lines sorted out. Let's just hope that the rubber o rings don't melt and leak now I just need to try to make an air cleaner pipe and find something to use as an oil drain. Has anyone had any problems with using the stock airbox, up until now mine has been sucking large amounts of the bonnet lining in, I'm pretty sure this will only get worse with more boost. I weekly have to pull chunks of the paper out so it can breath and my Christmas tree clips only last a few minutes before they are gone.
  23. That looks like an awesome drive. I'm in if my car is running/ If I can get my water lines sorted. Currently stuck with the water line behind the head.
  24. They were advertised as r33/r34 Garret water lines. Do Garett have smaller water lines?
