Again, i think i big part of Jack wanting to visit a showroom is to be able to speak to people about his parts in person, rather than have to rely on emails especially if he's unsure about what he's looking for or just wants some ideas... different if you know EXACTLY what you need...then u can go ahead and order something as big as a whole turbo kit online and not have to worry about what is coming for you in the mail and hope that it actually suits your application...damn, i know i'd be stressing out forking out 3500 grand and hoping ur parts arrive...having said that...it IS generally pretty safe to trade thru online businesses, especially those who advertise here on SAU.

Umm...what? Andru, there's heaps of stores around with stuff onshelf...and i don't know about paying 200% more or whatever for one off order...yeah true, they might not have what ur looking for at the time but its never hard to order anything in. the advantage of walking into a showroom like Jack is asking about is, most only require some kind of deposit before they order in (at least in my experience, anyway)...and the added security or them less likely to be able to just pack up their business if they wanted and leave with ur money like u hear so much about internet scammers doing lately. Plus as Jack mentioned before...it's always nice to be able to talk to someone about particular parts in person rather than thru constant emails, etc. RE Customs, Motorware and Access Autoworks in particular are great places to start. Unfortunately for you, Jack, these are all on the eastside. I'm sure i know of a few around ur area, and if someone doesn't beat me to it, i'll look them up for you and post up what i've found Justin

completely agree. i'm always polite when it comes to being pulled over. i got defected by one cop and he was fantastic. not out to act like a prick. just doing his job. and i definately respected him for that. but then i got a cop who came up from behind me while i was on the freeway emergency lane with my hazards on waiting for a tow truck to come coz i was having problems (with my old car). he asks me how my night was going...and he actually sounded really concerned. then just like that, it was as if he flicked on some switch in his mind and went all "bad cop" on me...starts defecting me left right and center. tells me to rip the wires out from where some gauges were connected or he's going to defect me etc etc...he was a real...you know. but oh well...cant always get the good ones...

My understanding was that the evo's always JUST had a better 1/4 mile run time than the STI's... I don't know much (if anything at all) about the new evo's and sti's. are the sti's just marginally faster than the evo's or is there a significant difference this time?
