  1. Thanks, around 10AM or so. CPL filter was a must.
  2. Some photos of our stand from my camera. Thanks to all who turned up and represented our club. 3. You knew exactly what you were doing there Eric
  4. Ok so no-one saw post #63 at all? http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448676-w-t-a-c-2014-show-n-shine-18-oct/?p=7407121
  5. Nice idea Eric re: that Maccas. Unfortunately as that's the M4 Maccas doesn't that mean you need to then loop back around to head into SMP? Why there's no road joining the rest stop to Peter Brock Dr (which is like a stone's throw away) is anyone's guess. 2 Options? A) Shell Servo at corner of GWH and Brabham Drive https://goo.gl/maps/Bzpvq - Nothing to eat though, really. B) Alpha Hotel at Brabham Drive / Peter Brock Drive roundabout (formerly Chifley Hotel) http://www.alphahoteleasterncreek.com.au/the-hotel/drink-dine/ - Octane Restaurant serves breakfast from 6:30am on Saturdays. Situated next to reception, Octane Restaurant is open 7 days a week serving up a sumptuous buffet breakfast reflecting the freshest and best local produce available. Octane is a bright and sunny place to relax over breakfast and the newspaper, however if you’re after something in a hurry, take-away coffee and other light breakfast items can be prepared ready-to-go. Full Breakfast $26.00 Continental Breakfast $20.00
  6. Can we throw up some pics of the cars that have been accepted / approved then? Also helps so that we can recognise the cars as SAU on the day Eric (Pezhead)'s R33 GT-R: Dave (Aggroman)'s R34 GT-t:
  7. Excellent. PJ I reckon you should enter the Z for sure. Classic stance is classic.
  8. Hmm, their Facebook page states the following for approval dates: FIRST ROUND APPROVALS: Monday 15th September SECOND ROUND APPROVALS: Tuesday 30th September FINAL ROUND APPROVALS: Monday 13th October So you might hear something today; or otherwise you'll have to wait until the 13th to get final word.
  9. Robbie Goddard's R32 GT-R "1 OF A" (which took out best R32 GT-R at the Anniversary event earlier this year) should also be entering as part of SAU. If it is anything like TLD Showcased a couple of years ago, they just allocate us enough parking bays for the no. of cars entered. We didn't have a banner or anything like that, at that event. Unless the Execs want to get in on this; there won't be any signage or anything. So it wouldn't look quite so pathetic in the event only a few cars turn up and represent the club -> It'll just be a few great looking GT-Rs parked amongst each other.
  10. All you can do is submit an entry Sam and see what happens! Either way, come down for a look on the Saturday even if you don't enter the car.
  11. Hey guys, Thinking of heading to WTAC 2014 at Sydney Motorsport Park this year? I and a few others have / are thinking about entering our Skylines in The Lowdown.Com's Show n Shine on the Saturday (18th of October). I've listed my car as being part of SAU / Skylines Australia NSW, and I think it'd be great if a few others can help represent the club with their awesome machines. It also means you get to park nice and close to the stands! Details from TLD's Facebook page:
  12. Fantastic day, congrats and thanks to the executive team, sponsors and proprietors of both Starkey's Cafe at Stanmore and Trackside Gosford. Hope we raised a lot for the Brain Cancer Research foundation. Here is my short video - enjoy!

  14. Yeah well the LMs are pretty special in that particular size, won't ever sell them I think The gold GTCs definitely look amazing on the black, but can't keep both forever!
  15. Hey Scott they were never actually fitted to my car mate. They were bought with the car as brand new wheels, but the car has had LMGT4s on it pretty much ever since I bought it.
  16. Sorry to see you selling it Andy. A really, really tidy unit. Hope you've got another beauty in line to replace it. All the best with the sale
  17. To the OP who doesn't mind non-OEM, I had a Carmate one on my previous R34 GTR, and the quality was very satisfactory. When painted body colour it is nigh on impossible to tell the difference from an OEM one. Here's a link to the spoiler: http://www.carmate.com/product_details.php?productid=NSGTR99VSPEC2FL And what it looked like on the car:
