  1. I used to use Royal purple, then went AMSoil, now I'm with Shell Rotella. 5-40 or 10-40. Seems ok. but I'm only at 15% Ethanol
  2. Odd question. Not completely on topic but related... I have a Tomei oil pump and stroker kit. The machinist didn't clearance a collar. Should there be something done or would have they extended the collar on the tomei crank perfectly? Parts weren't sold together
  3. Faulty gauges don't wipe out bearings, low oil pressure and bad clearances do... I had the opposite problem as you. High oil pressure (8bar at 60000rpm) and crank walk shortly after (700 miles), tomei oil pump. I wonder if you have an issue with the oil pump pressure release valve maybe? Your pressure drop Seems consistent. Was your pickup cleaned and inspected? You have head oil drain mods (in case of excess oil in the head), or orifice reducer?
  4. I run a canton check valve in my sandwich block (T'd in). I don't know what the 1 way is rated at for oil flow but now I'm curious. I run a tomei oil pump and see 3-9bar from cold/hot when driving/idling. According to other users this is normal but I also crank walked a 1200km old engine. So I wonder if this check valve has something to do with the higher pressure (alog with the tuner riding the clutch on start up, not starting with the clutch out)... Clutch is a twin Carbonetic. Clutch parts were correct and the Only thing found missing was the brass pilot bushing. I did not do the build. I also had not started using the the accusump yet but the check valve was obviously in use. Anyone have proof or numbers for actual flow of the canton? Compared to an earls even?
  5. My bad he's changed turbos like 5 times... 25 psi by 5k rpm and 850whp is laggy? Fak my -5 are that laggy with much less power lol BOT Anyone use a vipec with the EFR boost controller? Curious if its PWM
  6. The Canadian I know that got a set said 7-8k US which was turbos, manifolds, dumps, intake pipes, filters, hoses and fittings. But I guess being a beastly kit, it'll be a little more than the $4000 hks gt2530 which bolt on to your stock manifolds, hoses and intakes.
  7. John, you're setup is an inspiration!! Rooting for you next month sir! And good luck, I heard somewhere that team Nemo has rolled out some low 1:20s... Might even seem team america (ark design) if they ever update their status!!
  8. 5000 rpm for 28psi? I wonder why the boost response is higher in the rpm band compared to some of the single EFRs showing in the 3-4000rpm (rated at the same or higher power levels) such as the 8374 John Bright's gtr is unreal!!
  9. Actually I believe the EFR are indeed priced competitively considering they come with: boost controller, wastegate (if internal) and blow off valve which none are included in the cost of other turbos. Really, if these are all that great, Why wouldn't someone pay more for something better? Then again, in most cases you need custom manifolds, dumps and hoses so the overall cost of install is much higher... Probably the reason the twin EFR route is so rare, darn expensive for a setup that will be laggier, less top end, More complex piping, more weight than a single.
  10. A guy in Canada (quebec) just churned out 865whp with a precision turbo (6266 maybe? not sure) and rb32 (rips). All in (25psi) by 5000rpm. Twin stock GTR intank pumps too. Pretty cool but I wanna see more pics of his girlfriend... Tough to beat that response I'd guess but it's a bigger engine (frankenswapped now). Sadly, he believe's his tuner is a god so the one true big guy up there might strike havoc now lol Edit: No I don't have a faster or better GTR, I have 2 kids and a 4000sq ft house instead.
  11. Hasn't precision turbos (proven over and over) been the best choice turbo for cost/power? I often read how they are simply awesome turbos and cost much less than EFRs while being very close in response/top end.
  12. I think he was on the waiting list for an 8374 for over a year but because 95% of GTRs running EFRs are using that exact turbo, he went a different route. Could be wrong too.
  13. There's a guy in Canada who is running twin 6258 EFRs on a tomei 2.8L (first twin EFR in Canada) but can't find any dyno charts... Word is the kit, including oil/coolant hoses and intake pipes, cost around $8k USD. That had better kick some farken arse for more than 3x the cost of twin -5s
  14. Oh and if you need larger splines than the gtr, here is the part numbers from Nissan. cost is about $250 usd each? I forget 38220-12U00(right) and 38220-12U01(left).
  15. I surprisingly have some spare r32 gtr output flanges (1991 gtr). For sale (from gtrcanada). Shipping would be about $80 from Canada.. Franc
  16. Hello, I'll take this if you will ship to Canada. Pm for shipping details. What make is it? Knock off or?

  18. I have no problem buying this but I'd like to know some specs. What make of cooler, pump and fitting sizes? (p#?) I'd be using on an R32 gtr, should be similarly sized...
  19. Sorry, the "used 1 season was a typo, that was for the tires lol. Unknown KM but no leaks or holes
  20. As the title says, parts are nearly new. Located in Canada (shipping isn't so bad). Silly me didn't know this wouldn't work for a single turbo (no simple conversion). This is the biggest most complete kit. All pipes from filters, to turbo inlet/oulet, intercooler pipes to plenum (excluding OEM BOV elbow pipe) $1550AUD +shipping.. Piping is boxed up again but I can get pics if need be. http://www.rhdjapan....t-r-bnr32-52364
  21. Parts are located in Canada but shipping isn't too bad. I purchase a lot of parts from overseas without any issues or too much cost. 22. Why are you selling it? Ready with payment... Just waitin on the shipping Cost (PM)
  23. I might be crazy to ask but it's a push type right? Comes with throwout bearing and carrier? Willing to ship out of country? The friction discs look new but the plates look way heated. Rebuilt clutch?
