  1. y is every1 so against T bolt clamps, they hold on hydraulic hoses on mining equipment fine with 1000+psi im sure they can hold 20psi n id also like the hear why iridium plugs are no good, i was thinking of getting a set coz arn't coppers only good for like 10,000 clicks?
  2. thanks for the heads up i just ended up tracing the original gasket onto some cardboard on putting it back in, less hassles also noticed a coilpack plug was disconected but it may have happened after wen i was fiddling round with the bov. the car did sound tuff hahaah but definatly didnt sound normal , thanks guys
  3. i blocked off that top hose didnt really do much, the other hose was in a too tight position to block off. its onli gna be like this for a day so shud be alright
  4. alrite ill chuck a bolt in it now, take her for a spin and report back
  5. do u mean that smallish hose from the top of the bov to the side of the plenum? coz no i havnt touched that, all ive done is put a solid gasket between the bov and mount. damn u cought me out ! lol i hate myself for saying this but it sounds awsome, its only for a few days but, i swear!
  6. ive just blocked off my stock bov, NOT for the hektik flutterz yo but so i can use the gasket to trace out an adapter plate to mount a bov on my intercooler piping when i put that in. so im gna be driving the car round like this for a few days, is it normal to get a rough idle with the bov blocked? and is it normal for my car to sound like a rex and feel really rough until about 2.5-3k rpm? cheers!
  7. ive trying going through the different displays and my knock wont read anything other then 0. i know there are 2 knock sensor wires off the ECU, ive spliced into the 1 which read a higher voltage. although i dont have the afm wires connected up i bought the safc 2nd hand and it came out of a liberty, so wen i take it in to get tuned ill hook it up, could this be why? and also the AF1 reads 0% too, is that my air-fuel ratio reading? im guessing thats reading 0 coz of the afm not going through to safc.
  8. turbos are actually more fuel efficient then NA's
  9. lol at making a cop cry then getting away with it. not saying you shouldn't have gotten away with it, but they usually abuse their powers if u talk back
  10. did your hks ssq sound similar to that? i remeber u took me for a drive wen i bought that smic off ya, i remeber it sounded alrite i cant remeber what noise it made lol i hate the high pitched vl dose vvvvvvvvddaaadddaaaadddddooo doesnt sound tuff just sounds wank
  11. sorry to be rude and leave at the 1st meet point, had to sort out a few issues, ill make it to the next one! btw when i was commin home on beach rd i saw use all fly past me i think use were goin to bunnings
  12. ill come to lose my cruise virginity, i drive a silver 33 series 2 with a snap-on sticker on the back window so say hai ps. havnt washed my car in about 2 months but silver always looks clean
  13. i dont wanna do the firewall coz i wanna keep the engine noise il porbly end up doing sumthing simple like the boot
  14. speaking of demerit points, i remeber watching the news a few weeks back and theres some sorta demerit point hotline to tell you how many u have left, does anyone know the number?
  15. well u deserved that... blue lights are ghey
  16. im gettin a bit sick of my exhaust note inside the car, i dont mind the induction noise tho, if i installed some dynamat will this help? i was thinking if i did the boot that should quieten down the exhaust but not the engine which is what i want, but would it make a differnence seeing as there's already sound deadening in the boot? any other suggestions? id want to quieten down JUST the exhaust note, but if this isnt really possible i dont mind toning down the engine/insuction noise too, where would be the best place to dynamat? doors? much appreciated
  17. +1 for f**ked system hope u beat the f**ker up good
  18. ive been running the yellow jackets in my series 2 for a few months now with no issues at all as have much others. it seems there has been few issues from the JJR & superspark's and they cost more! i actuallly did 2 dyno runs, 1 with my stock coils which were not missing at all, and 1 with the yellow jackets. the yellow jackets made 2 more hp. at the time my car had the following mods: 3inch turboback exhaust, r34 SMIC, 11psi from turbotech MBC, k&n panel filter. so +1 for yellow jackets
  19. have u got nistune or just a remapped z32 ecu?
  20. can i do something similar with an r33 gts-t? its dead stock in the handling department and just wondering if i can lower my unsprung weight on a budget. im getting wheels soon but thats a few grand.
  21. have u got a boost gauge? your right they run 7psi stock (this is after 4500rpm, before that its 5psi) but they tend to run up to 9psi after upgrading the exhaust and cooler, this is normal & safe
  22. yes that's what he's saying, get the safc tuned running 16psi & it will be safe to run under that such as 10psi on the same tune.
  23. i get about 350kms to 50L of BP 98, thats with basic mods and std ECU, hopefully will see around 450 with a tune
  24. put a scan tool on it? iacv (idle air control valve) if it has one?
