  1. HEY!!!! Nothing wrong with D'bay. LOL. Depends on what side ya live in. I live in Moreton Downs and it would have to be 1 on the quietest places I've been in. Northlakes is turning into renters city and has attracted alot of wrong people. My advice, scope the area first and checkout the house's around ya and you'll get the idea of what it's like. Clint, Clint, Clint. Good to see the HP bug has beaten and sunk it's teeth in.
  2. It's pretty costly if you go the full 3 days and decide to get a shed and shit. I prefer the 1 day powerplay's, as it alot cheaper. This year cost us only 80 to enter and 200 for the garage, since we had 5 of us going. If you don't have a garage you don't get a pit pass, which means you have to line up out in the car park and wait to get out on the track. If you have the pit pass you can go as many times as you like, no waiting.
  3. Wasn't to bad. quite a few cars. They filled the other side of the road car parks. Cleared out pretty quickly though.
  4. Yeah Clint should be alot better once she's has the mid and top end of the tune finished. Ya bastard ya got in front of me LOL.

  8. The HKS 1's I just got look a lot better then they did a few years back. They have a few issues with the material they used on the cogs, as it was wearing away pretty badly. Had a mate with some and they weren't to old when we noticed it wearing. Just can't wait to hear the idle when done. Hoping for an extra 40+hp with out touching boost levels, but if boost goes up, well that would be a shame lol.

  13. Make sure you haven't put a single contact bulb in a double contact holder???? I see this every day at work. Also you may need to put a resistor in parallel in the indicator circuit to stop it flashing fast.
  14. The only criticism I have with the yellow jacks is the coil moves around the centre mounting bracket. Have seen it now on a few, but still can't beat the price. Good to hear you have another cooler on the way Clint. Has to be better then the other by miles lol.

  17. I removed the hicas on mine, because it gets a little hairy when she wants to step out at 5000-6000 at 18/20psi. You can still run the hicas with an aftermarket ecu as it picks the speed signal from the dash. I promise guys I'll get out 1 night to meet and greet. When I get home most nights early I could not be f**ked heading out again. Lazy I know, but I will get out soon.
  18. Cheap coolers are a definite stay away from. If the money is spent in the right areas in the first place, then decent gains are easily achievable. There is nothing wrong with the good ol' turbosmart bleed valve. I'm running 1 on mine and don't have any issues with boost spike and run a constant 20psi, 425rwhp. Pete has somehow set it up to gradually feed as rpm increases. In my opinion there is really no need to have multiple boost settings as it can be all controlled by the right foot. The only thing that I'll be doing next, when I get a bit more HP, is get rid of the boost t and use a solenoid controlled by the wolf to have more control and stage the boost for drag use. If you use the computer to control the boost you get a nicer boost curve without massive spike like most EBC's do.

  22. What coin she asking? What year? What power is it making as well. At a guess would be around the 300 to 350 mark which is achievable with the steel turbo's?? Things to consider would be T belt being due very soon so you'll have coin to outlay straight up, unless it's already been done. Best thing about these is the options are endless for these for turbo choice as we all know without opening the motor. A pair of HTA3076R's would be awesome hanging off the side top mounted lol. Capable of 1000hp it would be the choice I'd go as you won't need to upgrade turbos for awhile.
  23. Yeah I noticed on first crank on saturday morning and shut down before it ran. Sucked coz I had no tools and couldn't check it out properly. Doing a few checks before work in the morning and if it's all good I'll get to work and fix it that night.

  25. Yeah man. I'll see how we go. Got to check something out on the car. Think I might have no oil pressure. Hoping it's the sender unit from a few test I was able to do on the weekend with no tools.
