  1. My GT-B Subaru Legacy BH (1999) will come to aus sometime early next year and I think I will probably sell it as I want an auto for my wife. Has 55,000km, twin turbo AWD, electric half leather seats, roof racks, adjustable HIDs, cusco front strut brace, cusco front and rear sway bars, fujitsubo diff back exhaust, easy to drive around town but has a bit of grunt when you need it. Fantastic handling.
  2. You could try a Canadian supplier for an RB30. It would be much easier to just get one in the US in my opinion. While you can source RB engines, anything worth buying wont be a bargain price and would probably work out too expensive. What do you mean by that?
  3. Does anyone know of any sites that offer viewing of the auction sheets without having to pay money? I remember I had one a year or so ago I had one but cant find any now.
  4. I dont think i am going to, but i am a bit annoyed by the change. I would assume that purchases prior to 18 of November 2010 wouldnt be affected by this change, right?
  5. Actually now Toyota is starting to develop more environmentally friendly materials including production of interior items from biodegradable material.
  6. some sites allow for you to check sold prices. I think

  8. What the f**k! That is ridiculous. Personal imports respresent such a small portion of imports into Australia, why would they do that. I feel like writing a letter in complaint.
  9. A diesel hybrid would be too expensive to sell and engineer. I want to build my own electric car one day
  10. I saw one of those Vellfires tonight in white and it looked mean.
  11. Im pretty sure IronChef means that an application is in the works
  12. Because the car is started with a button on new toyotas and its possible that removing the keys doesnt shut the cars engine.
  13. How about this one in Kobe non-smoking, service records, 36,000kms, mightnight purple! http://autos.goo.ne.jp/used/detail.html?dc...599920091018001 or this one http://autos.goo.ne.jp/used/detail.html?dc...0502B4008552005 or http://autos.goo.ne.jp/used/detail.html?dc...1103D4001094006
  14. In that case you can comply it under the 15 year rule. There is a list of engineers for Vic around somewhere, perhaps the VicRoads website.
  15. No I dont think I am who you think I am Thats unfortunate, the NAV not working is kind of off putting a little. Still a very nice car.
  16. do all of these have a NAV/TV? Can you get these to work in Aus?
  17. It would be alot more expensive for shipping. Because of the sheer volume of exports that come from Japan, shipping is cheaper. Also remember that European cars are popular at auctions in Japan as well.
  18. Just as safe as trusting a car purchased through the flimsy USS auction grading system, and trusting that the auction agent is seriously concerned about the car as much as the buyer. In my opinion there is risk in both. I wouldnt use either unless I had a trusted broker.
  19. What is that suppose to mean? Yeah i didnt mean death penalty for DUI, but they do have a very harsh legal system. Their legal system needs a good overhaul in my opinion. I still cant believe that you can enter a university course which makes you a judge when you graduate! True, and have you seen how stupid people are with kids in the car. Almost daily i see mothers carrying their baby in the front seat, sometimes letting them play on the dash while the car is driving! I do think their needs to better education on the roads for drivers here. The road tolls here are ridiculously high. But drink driving is just stupid.
  20. Hey Fantastic pictures. I actually live not far from f*kuyama, my gf is from near there. Im in Okayama. I see that the apartment looks like a Nova apartment. The SunLine Racing Skyline is actually an Okayama car, and is owned by an English guy, he might even be on these forums.
  21. Umm...yeah! Actually the death penalty here has overwhelming support from the public in Japan, with approval by the public by about 79 percent. And they freely use it. It may have been going on for years, but its never been accepted by the community.
