  1. Someone buy mine! 63xxx kms mhm hmm! 03 manual premium with all the goodies and mods! And it's priced well too..hrmph slow market. Yep plenty of wound back V's. I got mine inspected prior to purchase and got it from a reputable place at least.
  2. $27990 this weekend only if someone puts a solid deposit down. Gauging market, goes back up after.
  3. Is that a 3L engine generating 131rwkw ? Have any 0-100 times ?
  4. It's up on carsales here Bit more photos there. Come inspect and let's chat
  5. Lucky bastard...i'd love to get my hands on some egging douche head. My old mps3 got done once, bad paint chip and my current v35 also got done once. Cockmunches
  6. Ffaarrr...i spotted this car roughly 8 months ago maybe.. it was just near brighton. I remember it as saw it at superlap 09 and the stickers.. i'll keep an eye out etc. Drive around alot for my job.
  7. Just goto any Nissan dealership and get some OEM nissan coolant.
  8. Thanks Love the kakimoto exhaust. When car was completely stock it was pretty quiet...maybe bit too much. As the air started flowing better it's really made it nice - quite quiet on cruise, WOT at high rpms and it goes LOUD lol. I specifically bought revised 350z springs and shocks (different to the normal 350z springs/shocks). As a result the front has dropped a bit (same spring rate as V springs but the shock is stiffer/faster responding) whilst the rear is actually slightly bit higher as the spring is a good bit stiffer than the V springs (so less compression from weight) and the shock is also stiffer too. Dynamically changed the handling of the car..coupled with the F/R sways, it's perfect for street and mountain passes like natio. Come on guys, quality V for sale here.. oh, just noticed today it still has the jap sticker for service too
  9. In almost two years of ownership, just once from a supra. I think due to the design/specification, the V doesn't get much attention from boy racers and what little attention they give is lost when you answer it's n/a. No attention from police either!
  10. Come inspect, make me an offer Constructive feedback welcome.
  11. Hi all, With extreme regret, i am posting my car up for sale. Details are as follows -2003 Nissan Skyline CPV35 -Pearl White paint in excellent condition -6 speed manual getrag gearbox -Premium pack (so suede/leather seats, steering wheel controls with bose entertainment system) -Japanese navi/tv option -Factory option sunroof (rare!) -Factory option aero kit zero lift (underbody air guides and rear spoiler) -Factory option front lip and splash guards -Factory option reverse dip switch for mirrors, mirrors can auto fold in when locking car -Oem HIDs reinstalled after compliance, OEM foglights re-enabled after compliance -Factory option privacy glass for rear quarters and rear screen -Full set genuine Nissan Skyline floor mats -Front windows tinted darkest legal -Clear front indicator covers The car has travelled 62,xxx kms. I purchased 2 years ago at 42xxxkms, it has been my weekender for about a year. I still have original State Roads pre purchase inspection report for when i bought the car - goes a long way to show kms are genuine (plenty of V's with wound back odo's). Serviced every 5000km by personal mechanic - always used quality fluids (Royal purple + Castrol). All fluids have been changed since car landed in Australia. Car is garaged and is washed fortnightly (doesn't get driven much), waxed every 3 months and hasn't seen wet weather in a long time. The car turns plenty of heads and i get some nice compliments about it. The goodies -HKS Racing Suction Reloaded intake kit -Motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer -HKS racing spark plugs -Nismo low temp thermostat -Kakimoto regu06&r exhaust -Cusco oil catch tank -ECU flashed/custom tuned for car -35th Anniv. Revised 350z Springs + Shocks, low km's on units -Whiteline F+R adjustable sway bars + polyurethane bushings -Rays Engineering Gramlights 57S, F 245/45/18 8.5" +22, R 275/45/18 9.5" +22, Rays long lock nuts, Rays centre caps, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires on wheels currently -Factory option Brembos F+R, currently using TRW Lucas pads (plenty of meat left) -Factory option viscous LSD The simple mod list really brings the V alive, and turns it from a grand tourer to a very competent streeter that handles really well, stops good and goes good @ 185rwkw and it has been nothing but pleasure to own and drive this car. It is extremely hard to find a V35 in the above configuration (e.g. manual+brembos, sunroof, premium pack, aero kit etc etc) and i have not actually come across another one with all the factory goodies that mine has (even looking nation wide carsales and here on SAU in the V series forum). I also still have all factory parts except for the exhaust (was too big to store). -Oem 18" V35 Coupe wheels, with 225/245 Bridgestone RE-01R tires on -Oem F+R swaybars, bushings+brackets -Oem thermostat -Oem airbox, Oem intake pipe -Oem springs+shocks Additionally, i also have -Trust Airinx high flow panel filter for air-box -USDM Z intake tube (install the z tube and airinx filter if you do not wish to run the HKS CAI/pod setup). I am being forced to sell due to changing life priorities.. the car is located in sydney and inspection can be arranged of course. The car is fully owned outright and a revs check is welcome during inspection. I am an enthusiast owner and do things as it's needed and am also very mechanically sympathetic which means it's warmed up and cooled down without fail, no abusing like clutch kicking flat shifting etc. Haven't even taken car to track even though it was my intention. I will only take genuine interested parties for a test drive by myself. No low ballers or tyre kickers please. $33,500, reply in thread or PM me. I am not looking for swaps/trades etc sorry. Pics
  12. Agree sounds like bushes lol. Control arm bushes tend to go first in many cars. Have a look at those maybe ? Check the shock shaft for oil/grime and look for visible leaks from the shocks themselves. What kms on the car ?
  13. The exhaust is jasma rated so with everything stock, the db is gonna be below 93db (or was it 92 for jasma). With some intake work or more exhaust work, it goes louder though. I remember when my car was completely stock except for the kaki exhaust...it wasn't the most muscular sounding thing but it sounded very nice (the regu06&r series isn't designed for outright power.. more about sound quality but i find it to flow quite well personally). I suspect you may be after something else ?
  14. I also agree, take the graphics off. While the car is very nice and neat, it wasn't the centrepiece of a show etc (please don't take any offense, none intended). If you go about removing the graphics (i remember reading you didn't want to touch the car to keep the history intact), then perhaps you can just drop in factory seats and factory suspension. I know someone awhile ago selling front seats out of a 350z 35th anni (so they should fit) and i have a full set of 03 suspenion in my garage getting dust, even the swaybars/bushes. Then with the graphics gone and comfier sussy and seats, you can keep it ? It'd still be unique with the kit/CF/Fibreglass stuff.
  15. No, once flashed at SAS, a retune is just several hundred as well...i know because my V needs a retune after a change. HOWEVER, you will be stuck with one tuner only (being SAS). But i kinda like the fact i haven't introduced a piggyback system that wires in to the main engine controlling unit and no cop/insurance trouble. Pros and cons to each i'd say.
  16. Thanks.. there's still a few things i wanna do then long term, it's gonna get opened for comp raise and cams (if i manage to keep it that long). Is your mates supra n/a or FI ? Sounds like it'll be n/a. One of my mates used to have an n/a mk4 supra.. was quite decent - in a straight line, it wiped the floor with my then fto with 116fwkw @ 1150kg. Another mate had a 2jz-ge dropped into a cressida, with bolt ons and tune i think it was around 150 or so... then it met a drunk on the road lol (the drunk was ok in the end).
  17. They charge $1100+ for a tune because they're the only garage in Syd (or Aus as far as i know) that can actually flash oem v35 ecu's and adjust ignition, afr, rev limit, speed limit etc. To be honest, it's not too bad...look at how much an ECUtek flash costs for a wrx/sti which is almost the same as what silverwater will be doing. My understanding is they have to remove the oem ecu, soak it in a solution to remove a chip, then replace or flash (or do something with it lol), pop it back on the pcb board, reinstall in car then chuck it on dyno and tune for your mods. However, 20kw atw gain is damn optimistic. I really doubt you'll see that much at all. The impul ecu will likely be running an aggressive tune already so there won't be much margin/headroom to improve upon and gain power. Oh, i gained 6rwkw from the SAS tune (and was quite happy with it as it remove my pinging as well). From what i understand, they've seen around 10rwkw gain on some Zs when flashing the ecu.
  18. It says you can use a valid 4c off voucher in conjunction too
  19. W00 thanks! Bit poor atm haha. Pass on coles servo pies though!
  20. Intriguing bit of info but irrelevant for comparison ? As running the factory box or a cai setup, the air speed parameter for testing/comparison will always be identical between the two, whether it be a dyno fan or travelling at 100km/h. Also, if you had the pod enclosed within the largest box you can make fit in your bay, then run some decent feeds to it (large enough that when going at 100km/h, it will push enough air into the box to create positive pressure), then you'll get that "ram air" effect. It's basically cramming air into your engine vs it having to suck it in (think turbo/supercharging). I don't know if you're gonna be able to negate the neg pressure generated inside the box when the you go WOT though.. being a 3.5l, it's gonna be sucking a fair bit of air. Come to think of it, i really doubt the factory box can generate any sort of pressure, maybe just reduce the vacuuming effect. The velocity stack built into it and the internal design of the box will be engineered to increase air velocity and smooth air flow however. Anyways, it's all moot, we're talking like 2rwkw lol =/
  21. With air box you gain 3hp ? Please explain...how can you gain hp from the air box if the air box is factory installed. You can change the velocity stack inside the airbox to increase the ram air effect, but it's impact isn't drastic. From my experience, the airbox gives solid low down and mid torque but chokes the engine a little when revving out to 7k rpm. I however need to get my car retuned for the CAI instead of airbox...that may explain my loss of power down low and mid.
  22. Hey guys... I CAN feel the difference between my intakes on the car...from when it was stock to when it was high flow panel + ztube to a proper CAI. And it's not just i can feel it, you can see it in the video too. I have a video of z tube + high flow panel and a video of a CAI. You will notice the CAI video has much stronger top end but weaker middle. In comparison the ztube + panel filter shows a stronger middle but weaker top. Incidentally, the CAI video shows a 0-100 of 5.6s, if you check frame by frame. Z tube + panel filter CAI Edit - Not saying your car will show the same results. Different state of tune, engine health, mods etc all come into play.
