Thanks for the compliments guys Everyone's poor ?!? What's going on! Fair enough i had to sell my V because i'm having a child but i went straight out and bought another toy skyline lol Someone buy 'em this week pickup only and i'll take $1400 cash - it's really annoying me they can't fit an r33 lol. (st.george area sydney)

Hey Mark, I started the price at $32990. Only got scammer interest on CS. Then dropped to $29,999, not much luck there. Then $29,990 and got some interest. Finally dropped to $27,990 where i got alot of interest. I believe the particular combo of factory options and mods on my car helped. I've seen V's on CS around 30k mark and they take a looonnggg time before they move. Anything over 30k for an 03-04 and it just sits on CS pretty much. Lowest i saw when contemplating and during selling mine was $23k for 03 manual pov pack bog standard in somewhere far-ish away from sydney but was negotiable. There was one for $23k in syd that sold quite quick soon as it was dropped to $23k. I got the buyer at the $27990 price point but because they were really nice and didn't want the Rays wheels, i happily sold it for $25,500 (only 1 month rego left but didn't matter as it was interstate) with the factory 18's and down to the marker tires. I think i could've got a better price but i'm of the get it over and done with type of guy so preferred an easy, fast and happy transaction. GL with it mate.

Touge Kyousou replied to Touge Kyousou's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Car is sold. -
Hi all, With the recent sale of my V35 sans Rays wheels, i now have my set of Rays Gramlights for sale. They will fit a V35 Coupe perfectly and imho look best on the pearl white (like i had) due to their dark bronze colour. The specs are Front: 18", 8.5 width, +22 offset Rear: 18", 9.5 width, +22 offset Perfect width and offset before you need to roll guards etc. They come with exxy Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires (high end UHP stuff). Front: 245/40 or 45/18, a good few mm off markers Rear: 275/45/18, a mm or so off markers And a set of Rays Centre Caps, not installed but easy (just push on lol). In very good condition. Front passenger has a little finish missing on lip from when tires were put on presumably (no actual metal damage/rash). Rear passenger has slight rash..forgot about my camber sticking out when pulling out of garage woops! Price $1600 FIRM. Pickup Sydney St.George area. If you want to buy from interstate that's fine but please organise the courier as i won't have time sorry. More pics of wheels on car in my V35 sale thread here Disclaimer: The buyer is coming on saturday to pay owing on car and pickup. If this somehow falls through then i will update thread/let potential buyers know i cannot sell wheels until further notice if so.

You said 250gt? The 2.5litre will never rip the strip, at least not without turbo hanging off the side like the stagea owners get. Heck even the 350gt is hard to get into the 13s with alot of boltons.

How Old Are V35 Drivers
Touge Kyousou replied to 180 wanabe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Bought at 23 and now 25. Also considered the Z but two seats = fail for me back then plus imho the V looks so much nicer and the interior rips the Z a new one for comfiness/materials. Plus...it's an import The car also gets alot of looks and yeah i've had the occasional older men ask me about it lol. -
Nsw - V35 Coupe Skyline For Sale

Car is sold pending finance to S.A. =O -
The final drive mod won't affect the kw atw reading too much. I've had runs done in 3rd and 4th in one of my previous cars and the kw reading was honestly about 3kw difference or so iirc. When i said "feel" i meant the acceleration rate/g's pulled should be close-ish between a V35 with bolt ons and a V35 with mostly standard stuff and a final drive gearset. I think full bolt ons and cams should just touch 200 but i may be wrong of course! I've hit 182 on a dyno dynamics and that was with stock headers, cats, y pipe, airbox (but with ztube and panel filter) and pulleys still. Plus the y back exhaust i had was more tuned for sound than flow/power. Add headers, metal cats, y pipe, lightweight fly/pulleys and it should hit near 200 imho, drop some stage one cams and it will be there or over in my mind. To the OP, just remember weight is the mainy enemy in the V. Look up Amuse 350z to see how the vq35 goes with bolt ons and much less weight..
-
No worries. Defintely attainable. There are some unopened de's going around with 190rwkw. You're just gonna need to do the last bolt ons available or pop in some drop in stage one cams so you won't need to touch the valves and springs. It's what I was gonna do but alas I'm selling my v ATM. I'm curious how it'd be with 200rwkw+ and swapped final drive gearset =O
-
Proper pod cai, plenum spacer, plugs, headers, high flow cats, catback exhaust, ecu flashed or piggybacked and possibly stage one cams. You may try to skip cams and do lightweight flywheel and underdrive pulleys. You'd get similar "feel" if you change the final drive gearset btw.

Realistic Prices For V35's At The Moment?
Touge Kyousou replied to sputnik73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Certainly seems that way. Personally i would rather buy one already in Aus...i mean - there's members here that have imported cars and the cars were damaged in shipping and in the end they had to cop the damage themselves. There's also the wait. Buying something unseen and without a drive. To me, i'd rather pay a few k more and be able to see it, get it inspected by whoever i want, have the car right now, test drive it and not have to worry about the car getting damaged during shipping etc. Though i'm sure if you get it done through one of the good importers like the Chef, then you minimise alot of that risk...just like he said though..sure you can bring one in for 20k, but what is it really gonna be like ?!? For anyone looking to buy one, mine has all the factory fruit - manuals, brembos/lsd, sunroof, splash/pods, front lip, aero kit, premium, navi option, alarm + immob. Then goodies like i/e/tune, shocks/springs/sways, rays wheels... /end shameless plug -
Fujita Short Ram Intake On My V
Touge Kyousou replied to Geoff0110's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
sigh... believe what you will. I've personally seen 0.3sec difference between my hks intake and panel filter/z tube from personal testing on my car and that's all my gonna say - people ask but no one listens anyways heh. -

Fujita Short Ram Intake On My V
Touge Kyousou replied to Geoff0110's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
JWT keeps the standard intake tube..i personally would prefer the kit come wth a smoother one than the factory 350gt tube. The fujita cai looks alright, once again i personally don't like the long design of the intake tube..could hurt throttle response, and let's face it...the drive by wire system already makes it slow, especially when the engine is at idle or near idle rpms. I was running the HKS intake setup, found it to be brilliant. Recently went back to z tube + high flow panel, and the car has slowed down a fair bit. Those hks intakes are really high flowing with minimal resistance allowing the engine to rev much quicker but you pay the price in the filter element used (you can see specks of light if holding the filter element against some light source). My 2cents. -
Take a video if you can ? I'd like to see how one goes...always been kinda curious about the 300zx's. Peak power isn't super high but i bet the torque is pretty good. I had a fto gpx as my first car, and from 2l it put out 116 fwkw on tightarse dyno. Need to rev rev rev those type of n/a motors though and forget about it if you're going up a hill lol. It was fun still making power at rev cut 8200rpm though..
