  1. Fark I love this car. Great colour and wheel combo. Sill gonna go E85 Michael?
  2. Just had a look at the regs last night and it would cost me $450 to enter since my car isn't registered.
  3. Same, hopefully I can smash out a bunch of work on the car over the next 2 weeks to have it ready. My girlfriends parents live in Benalla so i just stay there other wise there are a few motels in Benalla which are about 5km away from the track.
  4. Great minds think alike ^^^. Always wanted to do that.
  5. I'd go an aftermarket gauge and sender any day. Much more accurate than the standard stuff and not too pricey.
  6. I'm planning on entering the Vic event if my cars up to scratch by then.
  7. EG Civic
  8. I've got the same issue but I think mines much worse. If It's just surface rust then a panel beater should be able to fix it but if it is more serious then you'll have to get some chassis work done. As Terry said, have a look under the car too as if you can see a little rust up top then there will most likely be more underneath.

    Melb Cbd Help

Not too sure about near the vic market but I ate at a couple of awesome tapas joints in hardware lane in the cbd the other night.
  11. I've got a set of 555cc injectors for sale if 32gtr ones fit the 33 rail? Can anyone confirm this?
  12. I like this idea. I did a lot of research before I recently made the switch to E85 and it would have made life easier if there was a section to look in as it seems to becoming quite popular.
  13. Could be either. I'm just going off the PFC so it could be a couple of degrees out.
  14. Would that mean that my car has a low temp thermostat as it sits on 72 degrees on cruise.
  15. Well you learn something new everyday. Very informative.
  16. Probably not any time soon as Im pretty happy with the power. I think I'll track it until i get used to it and then go from there.
  17. Nope. Still want to clean up the suspension and some other stuff. Hopefully i can hit the track by Feb.
  18. Does it have to be towed or could you get a permit and drive it? Trailer it? I'd imagine towing would be quite expensive. Try looking at vehicle transport.
  19. I'm in the same boat as the op. Wish I had of read that thread on gauges before I ordered 3 autometer gauges yesterday. I decided on oil pressure/temp and boost. I thought since the pfc hand controller has water temp i'd just use that. The main reason I bought them was to see how many laps I could do before the car got too hot. Mainly just for a quick glance down the straight to see where I'm at. Gauges are replacing the stock 3 in the centre.
  20. Thought so. Cheers mate.
  21. Where does the standard temp sensor read from?
  22. I would consider my car fairly standard with -7s at 325kw on E85 so i take it I hopefully wouldn't have too many over heating issues?
  23. Well that pretty much answers all my questions. Thanks mate. I have been looking more towards autometer gauges as i'm not a fan of the jap (defi) style gauges but i do like the warning functions they have.
  24. Awesome thread guys. I'm about to take my 32 to the track for the 1st time in the next month or 2. Most of the cooling system is standard except for a cooling pro radiator. At the moment the only gauges I have are the factory ones and I don't particularly trust them. Just curious as to what gauges most of you guys use to keep an eye on things on the track? Also what would be the oil/water temperature limit you would run your car to before deciding to pit?
