i am 95% sure that late 97 models can also be 40th aniversery, when i was importing mine i had the option to buy a november 1997 gtr purple r33 s2 that was a 40th aniversay. I turned it down now i have my black whale

If you have had a look at the wire on top of the 02 sensor it is thin as you would want to be very careful you dont cut it off. i dont completly agree with paulr33 on this issue. yes in most cases it's not that great but when you are giving it to the car it does give you a good indication of how rich/lean your car is running however in day to day driving its crap like "let me drive" said it does just bounce all over the place

um how else would you intend on mounting it have you seen the size of them they are not small so a SMIC or TMIC is out of the question... you would need to get custom piping made up which provided you have a nice exhaust shop they should be able to do it for you without to much of a cost. no you cant use gtr pipes as gtr's have a forward facing plenum and last but not least there is a good chance you will have to cut your front bar at least a little bit to get it to fit hope that helps

EXACTLY my point if you make anything so frequent people take it for granted and will only come when they really feel like it... make it once a fortnight or monthly worst case and see how it goes because i can see tomorrow will probably be the normal people (not that it's a problem for me )

I just gave the guy a call to find out some extra information he mentioned that it's at a mechanic getting installed now. Alot of the information doesnt really match up with the site though which seemed very sus as he said it's not 10 grand its actually 15 grand at the moment but the longer it stays at the mechanic the pricier it gets anyways seems like it had all the goodies although i am very surprised that the turbo has a ceramic wheel ??? i thought something that big would have a steel wheel. I guess if anyone wants a cheap powerful skyline it sounds pretty good. just do your checks first.

what kennedy said is spot on. Don't try and piggy back the wire off the 02 sensor do it at the ecu

Yea i only come up when i have to though... Generally it will only be during a sitting week as well as the problems seem to only occur around then i only park in the ministerial carpark i don't even know where the senate carpark is lol Leigh

I agree jayce but if you also look at who posts on the forums now alot of the people that used to post are the ones that came to trivia and are no longer around. Alot of the newbies on here don't come or if they do its once in a blue moon (no offence newbies )

I think you are confused unless you have a bigger turbo a stock turbo will start spooling in the 2100 - 2400rpm and I think full boost by 2600 - 2900rpm. Also if you are going to get a boost controller with only having an exhaust I would not run any more than 8 - 9psi. Also you say you have an exhaust but I will put money its just a cat back get a good dump pipe and high flow cat that will help the turbo spool up a little quicker. Then get a good panel/pod filter, FMIC, cam gears and possibly an aftermarket ecu or piggyback. Then up the boost to 11 - 12psi. Some say you can run more boost but A: you wont see much if anymore power and you will probably add yourself to the list of blown turbos pretty quickly. I am only running 11psi with all of the above minus the cam gears as I would like to see my turbo last and still be in good condition, but then i am a big girl and am over cautious with my car

Mick as I have said before I think there are a couple of factors why people don’t come all the time. For me I love coming but can only get out every 2 - 3 weeks due to Fi having the car for netball the other times. In saying that though I don't want to be out every Tuesday I have to work to much + other friends + some time to do nothing is always good once a fortnight yea for sure I am happy with but I just don’t think we have the numbers anymore to do every single week. So lets not just kill this great event how about we just make it less frequent for starters and see how that goes ???

on the way home pulled up next to a clean looking 32 gtst said hey to the owner and mentioned SAU he said he wasent on here. Anyways gave it a bit at the lights was good fun although i thought those rb20's had a bit more grunt anyways seemed like a cool guy both gave each other a wave when he turned off
