  1. i ran 9psi when i had just a stock cooler. Only just bought one of these $22 boost controllers and have it set to 11psi because at least it gives me that little bit of head room should it spike... which it doesnt appear to be doing anyways which is good
  2. I guess you have a couple of factors to take into account even with the stock solenoid hooked up after i put a full exhaust on boost was already up at like 8psi which was still running the stock setup... As I said before i bought one and wound it pretty much as far out as i could and it was holding 9psi which i was impressed with.
  3. i will donate $1 to gus for the purchase you are only $49 away from getting it now
  4. Well just to update my situation everything appears sorted WOOT Swapped the connectors over to the correct way lol and went out for a quick drive... let her warm up then put the foot down went up to about 13/14psi so I backed off straight away. Pulled over and wound it almost all the way out... back on the road put the foot down and went up to 9psi and held WOOT that’s a good start... Pulled over again and wound it in a little bit maybe 3/4 of a turn if that back out on the road foot down hit 12 psi for .02 of a second then dropped and held at 11psi all the way up to about 5700rpm when I backed off as the speed was getting a little high. so big cheers to all for the input ps this boost controller rocks so much better than my turbosmart boost T which couldn’t hold its boost and cost 3 times as much
  5. yea makes sense now i knew it all the time though cheers for the help guys

  7. So NewKleer do you know if there are two different spring rates and that sounds dodge as it ones fine and hte other isnt. I am going to set mine up again on the weekend with thicker hoses and make them even shorter if possible... hopefully that will fix my problem.

  16. interesting the A046 looks nothing like the A048's ???
  17. hmm good point very strange that the Aussie site does not list them at all. The reviews seem good and they came out on the evo's as i mentioned. I think i will stick with the Toyo T1-R's so far i have managed to get a price of $280 a corner but should be able to get that down a little lower This is for a 235/45/17 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...odel=ADVAN+A046

  20. yea i mean maybe i am dumb but i cant see the final destination on that post anywhere ???
  21. Has anyone had a look at the Advan A046. i have got a really got price on a set but am tossing up between these and the toyo t1-r's. They came out stock on the Evo VIII's so they would have to be pretty good. T1-R's are looking like they will be an extra $70 or $80 a tyre at this stage.
  22. sounds good to me how long does it take to get down that way 1 and a half hours ???
  23. if its stock leave it at 1.1 if its modified drop the gap down to maybe .8 or .9
