  1. Anyone going to lakeside today?
  2. The German Club is an adelaide, if anything you're lucky
  3. Oh god, I do indeed. Would hate to have done the graduation in summer, being in all that stuff for a few hours is bad enough when its not super hot!
  4. Looks like its gong to be bucketing down this arvo unfortunately, otherwise I may have come out for a look.
  5. Yay, i'm not a legitimate engineeer!
  6. Farking hell, that was a good evening!
  7. Argh. If I go home from work now i'll just have to leave as soon as I get home... but its an hour to early to leave and go straight to lakeside.
  8. You'll most likely be able to go park over at the pits. even then, you'd be fine on the grass even with stupid low
  9. Ah bummer, I thought you guys had made it back. I'm certainly going to do what you are suggesting next time, i'll probably print out some cards (a4 pages cut into quarters or something) with the addresses and times for meet points etc so people can find their way.
  10. Yeah mate, thats why we have Jim and Fred giving us a talk over dinner on thursday
  11. A big thanks to everyone for making this a great day, we had over 20 cars turn up! Luckily the rain gods held off, and apart from wetting the GC meet point it was actually dry for the entire cruise. By all accounts the run up springbrook was good, and apart from a few false lookouts and a bit of a squeeze parking we made it there ok, with some good views to look at. Unfortunately, there were some issues with getting us all to the right spot for lunch due to the group being split up, I'll have to work on that for next time, but from what I understand we all made it there eventually? here's the photo's I took
  12. For anyone, particularly people meeting us at the GC, you can contact me on 0467078022 if you are going to be running a bit late etc.
  13. Its not a requirement to go to a pre meet meet... So, weather is looking good, should be a good day out tommorow
  14. Sure thing, but make sure any mates you bring along will be well behaved.
  15. no 3am phone love
  16. The googles say its about a 52 minute drive, which is actually less than i'd have thought, so if you left at quarter past 8 or so you'd have plenty of time.
  17. Not completely obvious from someone coming from the outside though. I for one welcome our v8 skyline overlords. Looks like we'll have a great turnout, and it'll be good if the go pro's can be used, we need more cruise footage!
  18. totally not going to be leaving work until 4 at this rate... dunno if i'll bother coming out.
  19. Perhaps getting confused with Jim Richards dinner next week?
  20. You live here now? edit: woo, great 1000th post.
  21. R33's and 34's were 7. Stock exhaust will probably be the culprit of this. Almost everyone makes 10-11 PSI for the full range with their R32 because almost everyone has a aftermarket exhaust. The dyno wasn't particularly low reading as far as i know, 3 r33's on the day all made within 1-2kw's of 180 with only an exhaust and a front mount, and my tuned r32 with 33 turbo mad 170kw's. Dam 33's.
  22. Yeah, i' feel like i've lost a whole week somewhere alone the line too. Jim Richards is really next week too, make sure you make room for that!
  23. to late to count me in?
  24. Turns out i got a payrise for the new financial year. Private sector is good!
  25. mmm... 18000 buck tax bill from share trading, that's nothing to complain about.
