  1. my 35c, the problem is that alot of "qualified" people have very general and often basic/poor skills, whom ordinary employees often are more skilled than. alot of "IT professionals" (i hate that term btw) also lack the professionaism and people skills nessesary to succeed in any professional position. please note this is NOT an attack on you, or that, just a general trend. looking at your post i would agree with a few others in prehaps enhancing your own skills in unix/linux, mac, prehaps database or other systems, anything in addition to microsoft OS's which every man and his dog thinks he can use effectivly. Larger companies that run multi-system environments might be hesitant to employee someone without knowledge of these systems. there are plenty of jobs in the "IT" Industry for people with the right skills, attitude, and the patience to tailor their resume/application for a particular position. sending out 100 resumes for "IT professional" jobs will get you no-where, as 10000 other people are most likely doing the same. you said you worked/work for yourself? this is what you should be pushing as opposed to the skills. that you have set up x y and z networks with x number of users, and they are running fine and stable and you still support them. It shows that you are professional, experienced and that you can apply your skills efficently. So get references from your current/previous customers. I know if i was hiring someone this is what i would look for.
  2. have you got a leak in your cooler, or intake piping, maybe a post afm air leak as simple as it sounds
  3. so more heresay joel, but i thought squish zone effected how prone an engine was to detonation. hence why running decomp plates is abit of a catch 22, in that you decrease compression, but change the squish zones. this is only my ignorant heresay however
  4. they would easily beat a stock 32/33, just abit quicker than a ss 5.7L commodore on the street. id imagine that a clubsport/gts would hand its ass to it however. (this is bone stock)
  5. this is how i see it, there are some idiot skyline drivers, yes we admit it and get over it yes there are some idiot cops. why is it that the non idiot skyline drivers complain about being stereotyped, when the likes of this thread etc is so eager to stereotype all cops as being idiots. look at the mccr crash thread, then look at a fellow non-idiot sau skyline drivers crash thread. it would be unfair to apply the same treatment to the non-idiot skyline driver as the mccr idiot. Its the same here, cops are people just doing there job. NO-ONE on here knows anything about the cop that was in that accident or the circumstances, and we have no right to make such comments as celebrating the accident soley on the basis of him/her being a cop. We hate that behavior towards us afterall. Would you like it if a serious accident involving someone you care about was treated the same as this thread based soley on a stereotype?
  6. i believe the black spur is actually closed half-way up atm due to road-works
  7. just a thought Doesn't the rb25 ecu have knock sensors? Maybe this extra boosting is causing unheard detenation that the ecu is picking up, thus pulling back the timing?
  8. one of the r31 guys has been running a 9.1 comp rb30 n/a for like a year. 21 psi, at apparently 0degrees timing under full boost. its all about the tuning really, with 8.3 comp, personanlly id b worried about over-reving the rb30 (they dont rev like 20's and 25's) and upgrading/shot-penning the rods, balancing crank etc
  9. good luck getting one that doesn't whine like crazy, or isnt stuffed, unfortunatly seems to be pretty common
  10. since when?? im pretty sure its only the pintara's with the 4.11 centre
  11. yeh thats right the silhouttes and gts I/II's had LSD centres
  12. 1jz's are factory under-rated, like 2jz's, rb26's and vg30dett's all are under the whole japanese 206kw bs. why do u think both the 1jz and 2jz are rated at like 206kw?? tell me that the 2jz aint got more power. anyways my mate has an auto TT soarer, completly stock apart from a hks panel filter, the soarer normally wins against stockish 33's by 1-2 car length by about ~180 (so pretty close), the i found the laggy in comparison to a 33 (ive driven both, thou the 33 was pretty modded), it's lag lag lag then suddenly boost (and sideways lol) and redline2003, trust me, they r quicker than flat 15's stock lol with up'd boost, exhaust, intake u should beat one no prob thou, stock, ud want to get a good launch, and hope his car was running shitty lol
  13. alarms/immobolisers are over-rated, if some1 wants your car, they will get it, just like my mates bro's car, they just pulled it onto the back of a tow truck @ knox city car park in the middle of the day, and drove off, alarm blaring and all.
