Hey All, Been trying to find out what lift pumps are out there, it will be used on a stock 1UZ (4lt toyota V8) but will be goin a twin turbo or ITB and E85 later on and dont want to have to re do everything when i trick up the engine. Currently plan on running an 044 high pressure pump (possibly 2 if i got forced induction) What lift pumps are out there that can handle E85 as well as flow enough to keep the surge tank full. The AE86 crowd are a penny pinching lot and only offer the budget solution and i want to be sure i use quality parts in this build. Also has anyone done a pre rail fuel pressure regulator setup? I was having a chat to a few friends who mentioned that it may help with heated fuel in the lines, not sure if this is true as the fuel will sit in the rail heating up till it is used, but my logic has been proven wrong many times. Ive also been having trouble sorting out what size surge tank to use, what size are some of the 300rwkw skylines using? Cheers yall!

Is the reason the fronts dont fit because of caliper clearance to the face of the rim?

...How dose that work the diameter of the rear disk is larger than the front...

It's on an 86 I've got -10 front and -25 rear...bolt on spaces are out for now but I may have to consider some... I believe the rears are larger than the front as the have the internal drum so if the rears fit then the fronts should too... But if you can get measurements that would realy help.

Can some one measure the distance from the center of the hub to the furthest point on the caliper for both front and rear.

I havent got 2 044's but have seen some in hpi that have filters that also look like 044's so everything is matching.

I need to upgrade my brakes on my track car as i have now started fitting a V8. I'm limited to 15" rims so i was hoping that some one on here could give a definite answer that they will fit over R33 brakes. If it changes anything the rims will be Simmons 15" x 8" Thanks Guys!

I have seen a few cars now running nice neat fuel setups with 2 044's and some filters that look exactly the same as the pump, this looks very neat and have been on the lookout for these filters for a wile now but had no luck so far, has anyone on here seen them on the shelf or know who makes them? Looking at getting a Garrett GT2560R to go on my 1.8lt play thing and have the option of getting it with a HKS Internal Wastegate Actuator. Whats the point of this upgrade? Any help would be good!

Hey Guys Just want to know if anyone else has had trouble with Import Hub? I recently imported a nice AE86 trueno and was told they could get it engineered in about 2 weeks, so i droped it off on the 8th of may. Now 2 months later i still havent got my car and am getting somewhat angry as i have been constantly told that it will be done by x day, to find out it isnt... Am i alone in this or are they like that to everyone?

...i need a head unit...and speakers...but now the miss has seen this event i have no choice in it...

look at AE86's ive driven na and t skylines and my sprinter is so much fun and it will hold its value one you come of age and can buy a turbz. also if you want something for the track they will work out costing less in parts if something goes wrong as well as tyres, 14-15" FTW!

Stay away from BMW's they are a real money sink. If you want to go with an e36, go a 6cyl. Honestly if you can find an e30 from 1983 with the good ol 4cyl M10 or any of the 6cyls in it they are good and have a fairly nice look to em, e36's alwase look like a tryhards car IMO. EDIT: Yes all 318's are very underpowered as BMW is a german car they have had to design engins with emissions and economy in mind, power hasnt realy been something they designed for (unless its from the M garage)

Hey All, I'm currently a second year apprentice at a euro dealership and want to get into performance. I know if i stay in a dealership too much longer i will find it hard to transfer into the performance field. Now i have a list of a few workshops I'm going to look into but want to see what other reputable performance shops there are im Melbourne area so i have a better chance of finding a workshop i will be happy in. Its not for my skyline, this if for my trueno just figure i should hit up a larger auto community to find someting. Found the 'DRiFT' digital ones but im not sure, good thing about them is i could get them from the states at about half the price here, only thing with them is there is no fuel this time...cant some one just make em all?!?

Selling my 1995 R33 GTS-4 Series 1.5 It grips like anything being AWD and its N/A so is perfect for some one on their P's! Its done 105,000km's Mods are: HR Tien coil overs all round Pod filter with mount Full 2.5 inch exaust BBS rims (only 16's but are good light rims) Down sides to this car is there are a few dents, one behind pas door and one on drivers side near rear wind screen and its got a Jap head unit, this works fine just cant get too many radio stations but still plays CD's and hooks up to MP3 players fine. Now im asking $10,000 to try and get rid of it asap as im trying to get the $$ to import a car when a nice one comes up. Can anyone tell me what diff oils i should use and same for box (remember its AWD), im not looking for top of the line as its just a NA run-a-bout just something thats good.

As title, i have a R33 GTS-4 series 1.5 and it has just clicked over 100,000km's, it had the timing belt done 2 years ago so tahts still good, the thing im tryin to find is what fluids need to be changed, and what fluids are used. Cheers!
