  1. and the assesor said i need a new intercooler, one of the fins has been bent since i got it. So now I get a new intercooler, I have to see the bodyworks today to make sure they order the right one, as the one that's on it now is a huge HKS one. So I don't want them putting on a hybred rip off or something.
  2. The other week someone pulled out infront of me and i hit them. Today the assasor said I need a new intercooler (amongst $9000 worth of other stuff). I'm 99.347% sure my car has a HKS type R intercooler (got all HKS pipes, and about a type R size) now since i'm not paying for the repair, I was wondering is the GT any better than the R? better flow, lighter?? I have to see the bodyworks tomorrow to make sure they order the right thing. I've done a search, and couldnt' find any info on a GT, but i'm sure someone will find 15 diferent threads.
  3. you gunna stooge a ride with someone? My car hasn't even been started yet awaiting the assesor to approve the quote ($9000)
  4. As much as a love Ferrari, it won't mean shit to win the championship if mclaren are DQ or stripped of points. Jos the boss used to do alright in Arrows in the day. But from the few A1 GP's i've seen he hasn't set the world alight.
  5. the stock sensors are renowned for being crap (in the GT-R anyway), mine goes to 0 sometimes (freaked me out the first time). But all i do now is flick the engine off and on, and the gauge works again. I'm gunna get a quality aftermarket gauge, as i don't trust mine as far as i can kick it.
  6. I think the trasferbox is designed diferently. As you have to remove the front shaft to dyno R33+, and not just the ecu fuse. well 10% is sfa in the grand sceme of things, i assume it balenced the car a little better, and it would make the attessa feel more responsive. The R32 one can feel a little slow at times. Did you do the gearbox/trasfur case with the engine and ECU?
  7. my car might have come from japan with a punch through catalyzer. But i bought it off a car yard, so how am i to know the trust kit bolts straight to the cat.
  8. I have the same set up but with GT2530's insead of GT-SS's, and I have nismo AFM's. I didn't upgrade my fuel pump, or injectors. But I would recomend it. I have a 80mm cat back hooked up to my trust pipes, just boldted straight up. i'd recomend 80mm or bigger, as the trust pipe has a 80mm exit.
  9. Dad and I came out for a look (i couldn't come as my car is off the rd) and talked to paul in the GT-R for a while. The rain would have scared a few people off i imagine.
  10. Is the R23 V-Spec II a 1000/sec ecu, or was it just a retuned 100/sec ecu? The probelm I see with a R33/R34 ecu is that they have 10% always going to the front wheels, and if you put one of those ecu's in a R32, it would expext 10% to always be there. Our Targa car has a HKS Kansai controller, no idea how good it is cause we've never turned it on (came with the car), if anyone has any english instructions i'd appresiate it.
  11. good to hear. Hope the mofo's are cought.

    My Poor Baby

well it's an insurence job, so more than likely it'll all be replaced with new stuff. So if it's replaced I could pilage it for you, or keep it for myself as a track bar (and put ventinlation holes and stiff in it)

    My Poor Baby

The woman was test driving the car, and the owners of the car are insured. The car's at a good bodyworks, so i'm not worried about the repair job, just the time .

    My Poor Baby

I usually take the mighty Deawoo Espero to work, but my sis just got her licence, and she was using it for the day. So I can only come to the conclusion that it'll all my sisters fault

    My Poor Baby

I was driving along Brisbane St on the way to work today, and at the Lawrence St intersection at the top of City Park (Launceston people will know it). There was 6-10 cars in the turning lane waiting to turn up High Street, when this woman in a commodore turned infront of me (opposide way on Brisbane, turning down to Lawrence), through a gap in the line of cars waiting to turn upto High St. I got on the brakes and aimed from where she came from, but she saw me and stopped in the middle of the road! It's a 60 zone, but I'd backed off so I would have been going 40-50 approaching the intersection (do this everyday to avoid an accident), so i was able to wipe of most of my speed, but My front left got her rear passenger door. The only good thing is that my intercooler and oil cooler are fine, it's only body damage. But i'm not happy
  18. love the ride hight
  19. The best thing that can happen at the British GP is for Hamelton to not finish the first lap. ITV might be banging on about Hamelton, but their still 100x better than the Aus comenators that contunaly interupt.
  20. go the 91 livery, there is already 2 Winfield cars out there. If it won the ATCC why not paint it in the colours that it won in, plus i like the old nissan motorsport livery And if the decision is just too hard, i'll more than gladly take it
  21. woho $55 for me
  22. nice reduction john where did the rear window go?
  23. Well Canada was fairly lucky, that race aside he hasn't realy done alot. Not that nico realy has done that much better, he's just done better in qualifying, and is more of a dickhead.
  24. I was out there for a look till 2:30, looked like a good day for the skylines (Mark Perry aside). How much grunt does that bloody VL have? It just powered past everything in a straight line. We gunna see the RX7 out soon stu?
  25. this still going ahead?
