  1. The Canadian GP always has lots of action . I was soooo happy to see Sato pass Alonso the fag round the outside, and too see Wurz get a podium . And I was sad to see Massa black flagged. I just read that Kubica only has a sprained ankle, so that's good, it was a monster hit. I think the new safty car rules are shit, too complex, and take that exitment of getting the pit stop just right at safty car times. Reikenin has been a dissapointment this year, thought he was going to be faster than Massa.
  2. Well regardless of anyting, I think if your not happy go back and have a talk to them. It just seems odd for brad to do a half arsed tune. My car was tuned by him and i was realy happy with the resalts i got. He's also tuned 2 of dad's cars, both with excelent results.
  3. i'll most likely be there
  4. I was meaning that it starts in 2nd. cause it would be low revs in 3rd, then you flatten it to start the power run, so it would kick back to 2nd, then change into 3rd around the bump. Cause if it was in 2nd, it would read more grunt.
  5. would the bump from changing gears, cause you can't fully lock it in 3rd can you, cause it would have kicked back to 2nd when he opened it up.

  7. People in Launceston can install a Haltec, go see Brad at Boost Automotive on invermay rd.
  8. In Targa we adjuested the rear wing on our R33 (from 3rd most downforce to 2nd most downforce), we couldn't belive the diference it made, the back stopped dancing under heavy breaking, and it stopped wanting to drift round sweepers. Our car also has a flat carbon tray under the front (N1), and is ment to have a carbon diffuser on the back, but apparenty there often flogged on import, and Nismo want $4000+ for a new one, i'd be interested to see what extra difernce the rear diffuser did.
  9. is it that hard to manually look at the power steering level? You have to check the coolent and oil manually.
  10. cut warning wire from ecu, or remove ecu. Pulling the dash out is a shit job
  11. Got some pics from my cosin today
  12. You could get a Power FC and Nismo AFM's, $400 ea, a AFM (std are $800 ea). I was quaoted $2800 for a Haltec, MAP sensor and tune 2 years ago. And I got the PFC, Nismo AFM's and tune for $2000. If you want too piss the AFM's off, i'd go a Autronic, or Haltec, but it will cost you more.
  13. So Rosmerry didn't slap you back in a slower group? She was running up and down the pits moving people to different groups.
  14. I went to super sprints on the weekend, and we were told to stick with your own speed group or you'll be put there (and they enforced it), and they hinted that cams want less cars on the track. We run 2 groups of 4, but on a small track. At the start of the year we had a 500hp GT-R get tangeled up with a lotus cortina.
  15. you were doing great burnout's off the line

  17. Was a good day today once it got going. Heaps of Skylines out there, I ran a best of 1:02.94 on Nexan street rubber, Dad got a best of 1:01.3 in the Targa car. I had a talk to guesty (i think it was him) who blew his intercooler pipe off on the familerisation laps, but got going again. I had a great dice with phillip leith in the Porsche GT3, i'd beat him under breaks, and then he'd launch out of the corner with all that weight in the arse. can't wait for the next one.......and semi's also if you did go you should post your time here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...0&start=560 then it shows that more than 1 person from SAU uses a track in Tassie
  18. Probably a bit late to post this. Track day at Symmonds on the 3rd or June (this Sunday), i'm running my car, anyone else going out?
  19. I found this http://www.gearthhacks.com/forums/download...wn&id=21963 it's got like 800 tracks from around the world for google earth, yes i swear i've very busy at work
  20. nengun site says that only packages over 1.5m are a problem, and the only list the evo system as being too long. But i don't realy want to be spending money on one since I alrealy have a 80mm, and I need to upgrade my suspention. I should start a charety for myself
  21. your going to have to post a audio/video clip of the car when the new zorst is on, i wanna hear it , should sound awsome with only 1 muffler, and possibly no cat. Nengun says $1463.57 (90mm) delevered to Tassie. mmmmmmmmmm tempting, dam you giving me ways to spend money!
  22. Does the Ti-R bolt up to the CAT or the front pipes?
  23. I almost fell of my chair when I saw us on there. Wasn't expecting anything of us.
  24. You coming to Launceston any time soon?
  25. Glad to hear it's most likely a small problem. Was good to meet some new people, and go for a drive. I enjoyed the Holwell rd and it's always nice to hear that your car blows flames
