  1. Our Targa car is a genuine R33 N1, it has ABS. I'm pretty sure i've heard duncan taling about the R32 N1 ATTESSA unit, as it's ABS functions are deleted, so R32 N1 (and Nismo) have no ABS.
  2. Dad and I are gunna do some recce on the weekend. We've never made notes before, and I was wondering how everyone else writes the notes down? We've got a fair idea on the info we want to put down (distance, direction, secerity (1-10), and and causions (crests and what not). But we just want an idea of how to get it all down so it's easy to read back when it matters.
  3. I've got the Porsche 6 pots on my car, i'm very happy with them. But I do need a bigger master cylinder, I'm hoping the R33 one will boost it enough so the pedel isn't so long after some knock off.
  4. I'll be heading north to mexico, should be in the Brabham stand. Is the Melb car show on at the same time as the GP this year?
  5. i have DBA 5000 series. there fine, lasted me a 30+ deg day at Symmonds Plains (very very hard on brakes), and a trip up and down the sidling, and there still like new after a few heat cycles.
  6. try new afm's, i had the same problem
  7. Is that the guy from ultimatecarpage? he has 3 Eggenberger, all in diferent liveries. http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum/showt...2471&page=4
  8. Front: Coil OD = 120/98mm Wire OD = 13 mm # of Coils = 9 turns Rear: Coil OD = 113/107mm Wire OD = 13 mm # of Coils = 10 turns
  9. I've heard rumers going around that HANS will be mandetory in the coming years for Targa.
  10. I wonder if when you get called up they give you a chance to explain yourself. I'd hope they'd go easier on first timers than say corner cutting master steve glenny.
  11. I just saw we are now numbered go car 895
  12. I've just bought a Trust oil cooler. My mechanic said that the lines have to be adleast dash 8, prefurably dash 10. And from what I found, all the kits with dash 10+ lines cost heaps (Jap kits, and the big UAS kit). But i'm not sure what size lines the just jap kits have.
  13. is andrew lawson the RX7 driver? Wouldn't realy bother me, I just want to go racing.
  14. I checked the box, we've got HT10's. I'm not sure if we're changing them for black's or not for Targa.
  15. a PC licence wouldn't be so bad only $355 + Med. Aslong as it's not a International one, they start at $1294. I was thinking I could nick our Targa car and run it later in the year, or next year.
  16. what licence to you need to run?
  17. ferni: I don't mind a hard ride at all, but I see a difference between a firm ride, and getting your teeth shaken out as you bounce all over the road. sk: I knew there was other things to do apart from springs and shocks, just didn’t know what they were. I’ll measure my springs during the week.
  18. Looking at the sheet i'm not sure if we have Blacks or HT10's Blacks temp range is 100-900F HT10's are 300-1300F I'll find the box tomorrow and find what they are. So is Adam just being lazy? He's done a fair bit of racing, so i thought he's know a good pad off the top of his head. Just get some bendex ultimates, you'll never get another job again
  19. We'r running Hawk Blacks in our car, i've got the paper for them at home that has the heat ranges on it.
  20. What are the Nismo G-Shock S-Tunes like? They have a nice spring rate for the road. Also what are the adjustible bilsteins like? We have them on the Targa car, and we drove it down from Sydney, and i didn't think they rode too bad at all (comfort wise). Can you get them for R32's? Cause they are alot cheaper than the R-Tunes. If I were to get diferent shocks than SK's Bilsteins, would the rest of his kit be fine for harder suspention?
  21. The spirit is an overnight trip, they start unloading at 7:00 in the morning.
  22. I've recently got my car back on the road, and it now has Porsche brakes, and lots more power. I currantly have sustec shocks with unknown springs (came like that from japan). With the bigger brakes, the car dives like a submorine when i hit the brakes and unsettles the rear, and that means i can't trail brake anymore (needed on the 2nd last corner of symmonds). So i'm looking at a new suspention setup, I'm thinking of the SK group buy kit, but i've read a few people that don't like it, and i've also read a few people say that the alternatives (like tein) are shit shocks. So some other peoples experiences would be nice. Thanks
  23. I got gaskets and studs for mine from Motor's Nissan.
  24. Me Ben, not You Ben.
