  1. well i set them, what i did was set the compesser to what the standard accuators are limited too (my EBC reads a max of 0.65 bar when turned off) and i saw how far the opened on the standard turbos. then i just replicated that gap on the new turbos and actuators @ 1 bar. Thanks for your help

  3. how far is the flap ment to open? as i have them out of the car, and i'm not liking the idea of adjusting them in the car.

I got some HKS actuator's for my GT2530's, and I want to set them too 1 bar. i'm using a air compreser, and a boost gauge (use the gauge to ajust the compreser's pressure output) to get the presure right. But with the accuator attached, and set on the lowest setting that keeps the wastgate closed. The wastgate dosn't seem to open much (~10mm) I was just wondering if there is an easier way to set these, as the instructions seem to have a x mm=x psi, but i don't read japanise. Thanks
  6. The FIA are really trying to kill F1. Yhe whole idea of F1 is to be the pinicle of Motorsport, so the most money has to be spent. The cars should be diferent, non of this control parts bullshit, if I wanted that i'd watch CART. Turbo's sound good though

  9. I got DBA 5000 series for a FPV GT (355x32, $650 each) for my GTR, and i got spacers made for the center bores. That was to go with the Porsche GT3 6Pots. You can also get the HSV ones, they'r the same size, but just have a deeper hat on them

  11. my oil has gets to ~130 deg at track days, don't change the performance or drivability. But I've ordered one of the coolers from the SAU group purchace.
  12. I got 226 rwkw with a PFC, Big FMIC, and 3" catback @13.5 psi. But I didn't do a back to back with the old ECU. running over 1 (~15 psi) bar on stockers isn't wise.

  14. HICAS can catch you out with spirited driving, if a corner sneaks up on you, and you carry the breaks through the corner. The rear of the car floats round all over the place, not a good feeling.
  15. Why Can't you get it rebuilt? I got my GT2530's Rebuilt, new bearings, turbines, and 1 new zorst cover. MTQ did mine.

  17. i launch mine with a 5500rpm clutch dump. I only ever launch it at the start of super sprints, can't be stuffed fixing stuff.

  20. I just got the trust dump/fronts. the only problem with them, is that they need modifying so you can bolt the brackets on them.
  21. I still havn't got round to contacting MTQ. been to busy doing other stuff on the car to worry about putting the turbo's on yet. I'll post MTQ's responce when I get round to ringing them.
