  2. hope your bro is alright. Did luke pull back into the trafic and not brake enough? It only takes 1-2 dumbarses to make us all look bad.
  3. How hard was it to wrap the trust dumps? How much did you use in the prosess? I've ordered these dumps, and i'm currantly pulling out my turbo's and putting some 2530's in. (If I ever find who designed the R32 engine bay, i'm gunna kick em in the nuts) Do you have anymore pics of your modding?
  4. Brock was one of my childhood heros, very sad day for Austrailan motorsport. R.I.P Brocky
  5. oh i know they are, dad's got one. I keep stiring him, so hopfully he will get it out to a club day soon. i'd love to make it down to see roaldin's going, but i'm trying to get my car back together. Take lots of pix for us on the day
  6. how come you went behind the rear wheel and turned it 180 deg? why didn't you just aim it straight into the brakes from the front. is the tubing avalible from places like bunnings?
  7. What's your GT look like? Is it a roaring forties one?
  8. haha this was on High Octane 4, they cut the best bit out though on the DVD there is a hesterical woman that runs over to the car.
  9. i just got the 355mm dba 5000 disks to go with my porsche calipers. There ment to be for a Coon GT , I just need to get some shims made up as the coon has a bigger centre bore than the skyline, and a 5mm spacer. $10400 is heaps, that would be for all 4? My Porsche setup is looking to cost ~$3900 for the front, and i'm leaving the rears.
  10. or more to the point, how many are wraped round power poles?
  11. why won't the insurence pay?
  12. how did you manage to comply it? and on the powerplay web site the pics of the ztune have nismo plates (compared to the ztuned plates in the pic), is there 2 here?
  13. found this list on google http://www.megaperformance.com/nexentires.html mine are N3000, there only W rated. So not as good as the hangkook's. Do a google on Nexen N3000 review, I was surprised by the amout of possitve comments.
  14. you don't need to remove the hub to get studs out. if you look round the back of the hub, there is a gap for the studs to come in and out (just near the calliper), then you spin the stud round the gap, and knock it out. I had to do it on my car. There is a guide to remove the hub in the service manual. I've had to remove one of mine to get calipar brackets made. I think it's a prick of a job to do.
  15. I put Nexens on my car, there not that bad, I think that there better than the g-grid II's that i used to have. $225 each for 245/40/18.
  16. you have to upgrade the engine, gearbox, diff, brakes. The list goes on
  17. My fronts are cracked, similar to that pic, but bigger. The problem is that symmods is to hard on brakes, and I probably didn't cool them properly, you could feel the heat on your legs when you walked past the car in the pits. I use Castrol SRF, i've found it to be good. But I know some people here don't rate it.
  18. how bout a RB31 (RB30 bottom/26 top) with decent sized twins.
  19. On a BMI I watched, Nismo said that one of the biggest problems with the z-tune was that it cept blowing out the cat. I think it's quite easly done on factory cats.
  20. i've got cracks all through my normal roters (solid ventelated). Just depends on your track, and your cooling solution.
  21. what about us poor northerners
  22. there's a lot of gain the dumps, but minimal gains in swapping the manifold.
  23. what injectors you running?
  24. get a brake place to custom make em.
  25. 32, 33, and 34 all have ceramic turbos (N1 asside). The 34 has bb core, and a diferent design. Ceriamic is better for a stock car, as it's lighter, so you get better responce. Nissan don't realy care about what happens when you screw the boost into them. 32 and 33 N1 are steel wheel and bush bearing. the 34 N1 gets bb steel wheel jobs.
