  1. the cops up here are generally pretty good, but I bet the import crowd will get heaps of attention now.
  2. do you have to rub the old colour back? or just go straight over the top?
  3. that'll buff right out.
  4. Top Gear is back on in the UK tonight should be ready to watch when I get home tomorrow.
  5. it should be out on DVD soon. Good ol Tassie got it on tv 2 months ago
  6. pretty sure nengun are selling them as "Nismo S-Tune Ha"
  7. thats why you need boah ends on, cause the loose end keeps the spanner from slipping. you probably need somthing narrower than a shifter, I used a 17mm open-ended spanner.
  8. I had the same problem. Mine was on a hoist, so i got 2 bits of pipe to fit over my spanners to get some more leaverage. Then you start undoing one of the tierod ends. Inbetween the tierod end and the big black HICAS bar you will see a smaller silver rod, that rod has 2 sides flattened. Undo the tierod end just enough so you can fit a spaner in there (onto the flattened sides), but leaving the tierod end still on (otherwise the spanner will keep falling off and round the grip off), find someone/somthing to hold that spanner in place. Then you can uncrack the other end. loktite is great untill you have to undo someting. It took me ~30mins to do the removing and replacing of the bar, and 3-4 hours trying to undo those stupid tierod ends.
  9. isn't the retail software in japanise?
  10. you don't need a UNI degree for a NC job, NC is pretty basic in the sceme of things. NSO jobs arn't too bad, the DoE just give preference to trainee's for the positions. But you will get taken for granted where ever you go, IT people are treated like shit.
  11. cool, my wheels are the same size, so i should be able to do that same set up.
  12. any word on price? how much more than premo will it be?
  13. I bet the tuners will be loving this.
  14. nice work, what size are your tyres and wheels? And is there any harm in removing the dust cover thing from the back of the disk?

  20. Wish I was there, I just didn't have time to bleed my brakes
  21. I like it, I like the inclusion of the N1 vents, and the R34arising of the front. Anyone want to donate 150k to me
  22. Bendex Ultemate. I think my biggest problem is getting heat out of the brakes. I need to make up some ducting for it.
  23. my car currantly has 226 rwkw, but i have hks 2530's going on soon, so i will should easy have 250rwkw. SP has 2 very big stops, and one moderate one. I'm doing about 170-180 going into hairpin, braking a 150m down to about 40-50. Then up the back straight i get to about 200-210, at the 200m mark down to about 80-90. Then From the top of 3rd gear down to about 80-90 for the first corner. All of that in 1:06. From reading the thread, I got the idea that spending big money on brakes wasn't realy needed. But i'm getting the fealing SP demands a bit more money spent on brakes. Any kit recomendations? A guy that was there on the weekend in a GTR had just installed a $4300 AP racing kit (6 pot fronts, 2 peice groved rotors, and all the screws and shit), i'm not keen on spending that much if i don't need it.
  24. I'm after a brake upgrade too. My local track is symmonds planes, and our super sprints go for 4 hot laps at a time. I currantly have standard disks and calipers, with bendex ultimate pads, and castrol srf. But by the end of day i have no brakes. Performance wise my brakes are fine at the start of the day, I just want them to last. I was thinking of putting bigger groved disks on, putting some braded lines in, and rigging up some ducting for the brakes. any help would be great.
  25. Well I had a good day, I got a best time of 1:06.00, but I ran out of brakes at the end of the day (again). I was more then happy with my time though, since i took 2.5 secs of my previous best. There was another GT-R out there that got a time of 1:05.3, but he had AP Racing 6 potters, and more power. Hopefully I can stop my brakes from running away before next time.
