  1. Pretty sure Dad and I followed Guesty from the Colbrook turn off to Ross.
  2. What ECU you running in your red traitor car
  3. There diferent enough to be a pain in the arse. My tuner wiped my setting out the first time he tuned it, and he had to put a heap more fuel in with the temp settings to limp it back to his shop from the dyno. I put my settings back in, and it ran fine again.
  4. I think we're just getting another exidy (or however you spell it)
  5. I also use the Trust/Greddy/Grex (just pick a bloody name), comes with big lines, and good fittings, and everything is the right length and what not. mine didn't come with a air guide
  6. I have Nismo AFM's, in the box you would have got a peice of paper that shows the voltage curve diferences between the gtr, z32, and nismo AFM's. You or your tuner will need to select the VQ30 option, and then edit the % on some voltage levels, i have a spreadsheet that shows the % settings to put in the PFC. this is my peice of paper i got, i put the grid in, and the red lines are PFC voltage markers. this it the spreadsheet that has the pfc % settings.
  7. we already have a plate on the roll cage, just the regs have that extra bracket that goes over the front of the camera. Was speaking to dad at lunch, we just found out that out clutch is rooted, so we're getting a new one, and the flywheel has to be machined, and the gearbox is being reco'd
  8. anyone having a camera in the car? If so what does your camera carrage look like?
  9. do you have any other sudjestions? Problem with living in Tassie, it's hard to find other cars with diferent suspention to sample.
  10. you get floating hats? I think my calipers have knock back springs, as i can always hear the pad's rubbing. I still get bad knock off, i'm hoping a bigger master cylinder will make it a bit better.
  11. http://www.bensonmotorsports.com
  12. Right, i've found my spring rates. ~3 kg/mm Front ~2.6 kg/mm Rear We've been doing heaps of recce in the Targa car, and the more i'm in it, the more I like it's suspention (screw type HA bilsteain, with 2 springs in front). It rides realy well over our crappy Tasmanian roads, and the car handels realy nice. But i'm not sure if you can get it to fit the R32?
  13. We have CSC front and rear (4pot) on the Targa car. There great, I would recomend them to anyone.
  14. so can you just replace it with a diferent strenghth spring to change the bias? or do you need the hydrolic adjuster?
  15. Just got an E-Mail to say the night stage has moved from the betanical gardens, to the dec. The night stage should be a great specticle for the spectators, the flame bletching cars will look great at night, and they're even setting up 2 super screens.
  16. the only aussie recer race i saw was on sunday, they are so good to watch, one of the best motorsports to watch.
  17. was a good weekend. I had a look from brock hill on Saterday afternoon, didn't see and sau people as i don't know what you look like. I was dissapointed with the time slots for the support races though, cause there was nothing to do between the F1 sessions.
  18. We must of tested the main road ones then, it was on the new Bass highway, just near the Entally off ramp (but in the Launceston direction), after 5k the Terratrip read 5.10 k hence +0.02%. But i'll re-do it on the event one, I think the event one runs a little shorter than the road one. We've mainly been using the Terratrip for measuring distances between corners on the recce, and finding chicanes. We're not sure about using a running total of km down the side (to be used if we fall off the notes), as it'll get out of wack on the long stages with wheel spin and what not.
  19. look's like newy took last years mclaren designs over to rbr with him, the car looks pretty similer (which you would expect)
  20. we tested out terratrip on the bass highway (5k one), and it was 0.02% fast. The chicane on the Deloraine stage still had marks on it from last year (tarmak had been ripped up), and that one was entered from the left. As long as they are all the same.
  21. Yes we are using them, and we zero the Teratrip at the start. We just like to see the markings so we know we're in the right spot. Do all the chicanes go the same way?
  22. I recon Kimi will be quicker than massa, but not convinsingly. I also recon Also will struggle with reliability probelms. And Rosberg will continue to bin cars. I hope Wurz goes alright, I didn't mind him back in the Bennaton days.
  23. Oh I know that, just when we first started, we were going through 5-6 times because we were driving too fast (and getting the wrong notes down, and missing chicanes). now we go through at ~30-40km/h, and stoping for notes to be written properly, and that mean's our next runs through the stage are only double checking notes, and not having to start from scratch again. But i'll remember not the rush them, I'm not a fan of hugging tree's.
  24. We got some recce in today and yesterday. Took us a while to get the hang of taking notes, as dad didn't understand that the first pass is very slow. The chicanes are a bitch to find, the white markings are very hard too see. We've only done 3 stages, but now we have the hang it we should be able to get them done resobly quick. Thanks TT for your notes, gave us a good idea of how to go.
