  1. I like that feature on the DVD last year to see every car. Will the Classic get equil footage to the Modern like it used too years ago? How much input does Targa/Ocatagon get on the DVD? or does SC just do what ever it wants?
  2. still handy non the less. I need a 1995 one though, as we might be able to put any bit's in there on our targa car.
  3. We were talking to Brian Tarratt, and he said that some GT-R's were running Nismo option parts, as when you bought a GT-R, you could get anything from the Nismo catalouge fitted and warrentied as an option part. I don't know if R32's had the option for 18's, but I know that one of the R33's were running Nismo 18" wheels amoungst other things.
  4. So does anyone have a Nismo catalouge from 1995?

    Rb25 And Rims

i'm still interested in the rim's if they fit over my brakes.
  6. We ran RE55's, it's the first time eather of us have used semi's, so we nothing to compare them too. We found that the wet bit of South Rianna, Fern Glade, and Helyer Goarge were like ice. So I don't know how much better other tyres would have been. We had a chat to kimber and o'kane in the Green GT-R when we were waiting at the start of straugn. They were pretty pissed about how they ended up on the roof of the other car, but they saw the funny side of it. Apparently they were folling another car for 3k that wouldn't let them past, the car finally waved them past but then accelerated again, the GT-R had to accelerate again to get past, and went too hot into the corner, over the bank, and onto the other car.
  7. I've been told that in Japan, when you bought a nissan you could option things on from the Nismo catalouge as a factory option with full warrenty. Does anyone have a Nismo catalouge from 1995, R33 GT-R options to be spesific. I know there was an option for Nismo 18" wheels, but was there any other good ones. Thanks
  8. Any of us?
  9. Dad knows the east coast pretty well, so that's always a help. I'd like to do some other rally's this year, just depends on time. Freestyle FX did the printing and wraping, and Taz (Donati's Pizza, Yellow R33) did the design. Also I recon we'll buy notes from now on, most of ours were pretty average.
  10. I have had my Nismo AFM's for 2 years now, not 1 problems. one of my std AFM's died just after I got the car (due to age) that's why i went Nismo's. Our Targa car has 318rwkw, and has been raced all it's life, and it still has it's standard AFM's (and it runs a PFC), you just have to make sure your air filters are doing there job (and not over oiling them), and AFM's last for ages.
  11. Well we finished, and got our Targa trophys . We got a dirived time of +4:31 on arrowsmith after we stopped where the big crash was, we're pretty pissed off. We were in amongst all the classics after the downgrasion of straughn (we didn't get fuel, so we ended up with the slower cars), so our dirrived time was taken from the cars around us , and we didn't know that the dirived time complaints finished last night. The Just Jap GT-R was setting about the same pace as us all rally and he was +1:39, if we were given a time like that we would have ended up in the mid to low 30's instead of 41st, but now we know that all winging has to be done that night. I drove Day 1 untill lunch. was all good untill paradice, where were waiting at the start for 40 mins, then we appeared at the start, dad didn't plug his head set in properly so it just screamed at me (had to turn it off), I was finishing tightening my helmate when the 10 sec light came on, didn't have time to put my gloves on. And when i hit the breaks for the first corner, i found out i hadn't tightened my belts, so I had to tighten them as we went round teh next few corners. We made sure we didn't get cought short like that again. Day 2 I was sick as (even had a spew after Welbra Pass), so Dad drove most of that day without notes. On day 4 I got to drove Longford, Mole Creek, Cethana, and Gunns Plains. On Cethana I cought a Porsche GT2 (didn't pass, but was getting a slip stream across the finish line) and was 26th fastet accross the stage +1:39. I didn't like gunns plains, i didn't trust the notes, and I got passed by o'keefe. But i'm sure we'll be back next year/
  12. We only got out of 2nd on the one longer straight, was too tight for our car, turbo lag realy showed. Should be better tomorrow.
  13. We had it out setting up the terratrip today. I just saw you don't have to be at scruteneering till 2:03 ya bastards, we have to be out there at 8:20 tomorrow morning. Also there a 1981 Audi Sport Quattro running round town (it's in the tour ), it sounds soooooo good.
  14. I hope Honda change that rubbish paint sceame. Massa has nothing to prove about is pace, it's just his racing that he has to prove. and Ch 10 is delaying the coverage again
  15. why not use AFM's? The D-Jetro isn't the best MAP sensor ECU out there (s**t to tune), if you realy want to go to a MAP sensor, i'd get an Autronic, or Haltec, and at that stage you've spent more than a PFC + bigger AFM's.
  16. We bit the bullet today and dropped the gearbox out of dad's road GT-R. We're still waiting on the new front shaft to arrive. But the car is all tarted up on the outside now, and apparently it looks alright.
  17. our csc's are on a 343mm rotor, and the calipers have marks on them from where they touch the rim when it's not perfectly clean.
  18. i'm running GT2530's on a stock engine, full boost (1.1 bar) is at 4400rpm. But I have cam gears and Trust dump/front pipes. I've had this on the track, and I find it quite responsive, but I havn't been in a car with GT-SS's. My dyno sheet should be near the end of the rb26 thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2920655
  19. We finished our recce today, 950k today, 800k sat, 800k fri. Now for the mega fun job of typing it all up. Our car is getting stickered up this week, and is still missing a gearbox , but on a good note, the suspention all finally fixed and aligned properly.
  20. he wanted to keep his licence
  21. I found out this afternoon that our gear selector for 3rd gear on our Targa car is fubar, and the parts have to come from Japan. Where are some places that have R33 GT-R gearboxes redily avalible, they don't have to be new, just in decent condition. Thanks
  22. the guy who made my brake brackets explained it to me (he also makes knock off harrop floating hats). He showed me that floating rotors join to the hat via slidible tab's instead of just being bolted on, this means that when the roter heats up and expands, the tab's will allow the rotor to grow outwoods instead of warp.
  23. What's the Tein RA like comapared to the Nismo R-Tune?
