  1. Did you need to ask twice? Lol And I haven't heard of them, so I dunno....
  2. From what I've read about the precision turbos, they need quite a bit of boost wound into them to start making decent numbers. Plus they have a fairly open pitch on the exhaust wheel which means they are a little all or nothing from what I understand. Please correct me if I'm wrong people. That's just what I made of what I was reading.
  3. looks like it was a drop of water on the lens of the camera mate, the quarter looks perfectly fine in the other photos
  4. Lol, This thread was an exceptionally entertaining read. OP, good to see you come around in the end, just don't be a dick when people are trying to offer you free help that is correct.

  6. S2 don't have an ignitor. Does it miss when idling? If so, you should be able to narrow down which cylinder is missing by unplugging each coil pack individually in turn. Then when you have found the one that didn't worsen the idle from unplugging it, you can swap it with a coil pack from a different cylinder to see it the problem moves with it. If the problem moves with it, Bingo! You've solve the mystery. If the problem remains on the same cylinder then it means that something else is the issue like possible injector problem or coil pack loom etc....
  7. 3540 on full boost by 4000 on an rb20? No freaking way, not even with a .63 rear housing. With a .63 rear housing you're lucky to get hit full boost on a rb25 that early dude. Unless he has some top secret goodies and some jungle juice fuel he's using..... edit: beat me to it zebra
  8. Agreed, sounds like a wives tale. Back on topic though, 21psi through a t04z on a 3l should be making a fairly comfortable 400kw....
  9. Post videos or gtfo! That turbo does sound like a bit of a mismatched setup though. Don't think it woud be much of a goer on an rb25 as it would be laggy and not deliver much top end...
  10. lol, that is freaking awesome, I feel sorry for that poor standard rb25 though.... Top results though, I kinda wish I had one of these turbos on my car instead of a gt3076
  11. Sorry for the timely response, did you get my MMS yesterday mate? Anyway, for if you didn't here's the pics i sent plus a few more. That sucks about the exhaust wheel as well dude, you're not having much luck with that turbo...
  12. Standard one can be modified, Just get someone who knows what they are doing to do it for you. Mine setup has an external gate mounted to a modified standard manifold, Works fine. Although a lot of people are against it, it works for me
  13. Hey man, I'm in Brisbane as well, I don't need the injectors or the box But I need the plastic sleeves they come in. How much for just those, I only need 3 by the way. I am also after a wheel nut to suit any vehicle. Just 1 wheel nut, how much posted to Brisbane?
  14. Yea, I remember street to track being the cheapest I could find about 12 months back as well. Not just on turbos either, but on pretty well anything you need.
  15. Mate, If you insist on a cheap turbo then have a read of this here High racing though champ? You may be open to some flaming there
  16. That's awesome. Thanks mate, You're a champ
  17. Hey mate, yes, I'm very interested. Was it incredibly time consuming or not to bad? I'm Hoping to start on the lifters in the next couple of days. If you could post a link it would be much appreciated Cheers
  18. You'll need an RB25DET PFC. Not sure about your other question regarding the saurus one though?
  19. Sorry to high-jack your thread mate, but I'm about to replace the lifters in my rb25det. How much stuffing around is involved in pulling apart and cleaning them properly? Or is it just as rewarding to simply soak them in diesel oil?
  20. Sorry mate, my main source of solid info is my housemate who is an exercise physiologist. I read a few things here and there. My other house mate has the arnie book called modern body building etc. It's an interesting read as well.
