ACTUALLY, it's partially true. (from what I gathered from the guy who engineered mine) anything non-OEM that can change the function of the vehicle in any way is supposed to be engineered...whether Dickson give a fark or not is different. Dash mounted gauges and 33 GT-R wheels needed to be put on mine, not by request of the Dickheads at Dickson, but that's just the way it was supposed to be done.

Injectors and coilovers won't be transferable to the R34, as I'm sure you're aware. Unsure about ECU, though it's probably in the same boat.

If you're selling it with a roadworthy, you're kidding yourself. Will end up spending SO much more time and money to get it than the car is worth. f**k that. Just cancel the rego and get a dodgy RWC, then sell it with that. Once the rego is cancelled (either by yourself or the RTA if you leave it that long), there IS NO DEFECT TO CLEAR. The car just requires a roadworthy to have registered. All defects are tied to the rego (which is tied to the car). No rego = no defect. New rego = no defect.

I'm sure it's already been said, but if you don't pass you still have time to clear it - there's a further number of weeks between the date the defect need to be cleared and when they cancel your rego. Honestly I wouldn't stress. You'll have your new car by the time you get this one into roadworthy condition lol
