  1. What the f**king f**k? was this babelfish translated from Swahili into Japanese then finally to English? cant tell if obscure troll or spammer looking to up postcount..
  2. your a tough crowd stig! but yeah FFS, check the wasteland before posting anything 'humorous' OP, its pretty much bound to be in there..
  3. See how much easier that is with a little punctuation? was going to fix the other 'huge wall of text' posted by someone else on here but he seems so mentally unstable (hey he said it first) that he would probably track me down and re arrange my lounge room while i was sleeping just to make a point. Anyway i think two lessons can be surmised so far from this thread.. A) if someones flying up behind you (however illegal and rude it is) just get out of the way. You will save yourself an assload of trouble. B) was going to say something about Commodore drivers but I think I will just re-iterate how important A) is. Get outta the goddamn way. ok carry on, best thread i have seen for a while.
  4. some awesome pics in here guys, didnt expect a sub-sub section thread to take off so well, pleasant surprise! The sliding in the dirt ones are the most dramatic and exciting i must admit, you have some cojones Harry, gotta admit, not sure i would have big enough balls to try that sort of stuff off the bitumen. Same thing for targas, scary close to trees it is a long time dream to one day compete at the iconic Tasmanian adventure however, what kind of budget would someone need for that as a minimum though? k, keep the great shots coming guys!
  5. where were you when i was bombing down Kiama heights on sunday?
  6. ^^ talk about an upgrade, would also say Zed wins it for best first car at this point..
  7. nice, looks like yours sees as much dirt time as mine!
  8. i followed instructions and went to 'my content' but couldnt see it, was an accidental post in here when i should have thrown it in the photography section or maybe the wasteland, basically just pics of skylines on the track. more specific than just 'pics of skylines' . did it get moved or deleted? of course this one will get locked too etc but curious panda is curious...
  9. i have one or two others to hunt down, will try and keep it to the decent 'drama' shots but yeah love to see some of the other members doing what they love best in their rides
  10. amazing stuff Tom, very very Jelly. oh and nice work keeping your watermark nice and subtle, some guys go OTT and its distracting from the actual subjects of the photo...Terry, keep us posted on the mag. Nick T is writing the article?
  11. oh yeah i see what you mean now, your talking about driving conservatively and therefore not actually engaging the boost much at all, saving petrol. gotchya! i do try and baby it a little when low on fuel but its hard.. Turbo FINALLY turned up at the post office this afternoon, got the pick up card so will grab it tomorrow but due to the trackday being this wknd will wait till monday to get the thing installed, so if you order one from Hypergear expect it at least 2 weeks later. just sayin.
  12. Bailey st, Albury, Baylis st Wagga or George st Sydney, just drive up and down them with your windows down and the bass up. Helps if its a Fri or sat night too. you will pull lots of bishes.. i should really go to bed now. stupid Dr pepper.
  13. sounds like the Pro's outweigh the cons to me... oh and cool video God-speed, i remember a whole bunch of those got done by BMW in the early noughties, big stars, famous directors etc. wonder why they stopped? Tru dat about the hume highway, i think 80% of my tickets are along the stretch near Goulburn..my head..wall.
  14. dont happen to work for the Daily Toilet paper do you? nice choice of ride, in a series 2 myself, come along to the next track day,u wont regret it!
  15. bought it back in 03 for 1500 bucks, it lasted about 2 yrs before a mates gf rear ended someone on the Iron cove bridge and blamed me for 'not like, fixing the brakes, and shit'. Was a great car considering it was an auto with flood damage (too many spilled mountain dews). almost miss the thing. almost. upgraded to an A4 which was an absolute lemon. now im in a skyline i aint ever going back..
  16. found this article while surfing the web tonight, gave me a good chuckle as i remember enjoying the old star-a-thon from the locals whenever i was out and about. Wish i had thought of this! http://www.cnngo.com/tokyo/life/you-lookin-me-fake-book-soothes-race-relations-985868 made a vague topic as im sure i will spot other stories down the way and will want to share them, feel free to contribute
  17. i just have a sony TX5 and soon to upgrade to a better one, possibly with aperture settings, not a clue how to photoshop so it might have to be done in situ. up for the ghost house/industrial area stalking in sydney if anyone ever does that. love abandoned sites! yeah re johhnny walker, its what caught my attention in the first place, very Redfern!
  18. come on cruises for sure, we will just stick you up the back so you dont break up the look of the convoy. in the end though its all about the good company and damn fine pies, look forward to climbing all over your nice leather interior and hearing that V8 burble at the inevitable lunch stop! sounds like a fine package, going to keep it and mod it further after the warranty goes or keep upgrading to something new?
  19. was that at the bottom of the big dipper near Mittagong? they are always there, pretty much impossible to warn anyone as well as they are usually facing up hill and traffic is well separated by the medium and the blind corner before the hill starts climbing. Pretty dumb to fly up or down there and i have seen half a dozen people pulled over there, i only drive out that way 7 or 8 times a year depending on how many track days im doing too. Theres a few other 'hides' but its such a long distance it takes a while to spot them all, kinda makes the journey a little more interesting though, like watching out for bandits or an ambush (which is not too far off from reality IMHO).
  20. not sure if this counts as arty enough but pull out the camera when im out and about so might contribute in here now and then, have no idea about composition, rule of thirds or have any idea what 'fill' is but hopefully can pull off some lucky prettiness. anyway which is the better shot? im thinking the second one for context..
  21. crap sorry my bad for the fail link, no wonder their forum is dead is just a cheap club day on the 15th basically. would come on the monday but dont think i can afford two track days in such a short space of time def go either way dont_ask, post plenty of pics here and make us all very jealous. will be good to see you at the next offical club day and then you can post up a comparo between how we do it and a random day.
  22. Import an N1 Vspec nur R34 GTR just to make us all jelly. and one of us in particular..
  23. what stations that? looks to be near Fairfield...good thing the cop wasnt checking his rear view mirror or your would have been toast for using that thing while driving lol.
