Lot a weight high-up on the Patrol....would be useless around corners........ And to me that's where the real fun starts....

My Wife preferred the Porsche to my R35.......GTR is Just a little to quick for her. I must say that my Exige is more of a track car feel then my R35 as it's much easier to live with and a hell of a lot better and more fun on longer trips...... I have always had a soft spot for TVR's......but would most likely opt for more current models as they are better sorted . As for Ford's and Holden's...............................I deserve and want and have better. PS: All good...what ever spins your wheels..........."Stay Sweet"

Yep...........my R35 stock was the worst purchase ever.....as It has spoiled me forever......will never purchase another Porsche and hardly drive my Exige or Elise anymore and no good looking at anything else........just not as good unless I sell my house and spend 500k plus.... Now with my midpipe and Cobb custom tune installed.......

Bought my R35 because it was the Performance Bargain of the decade not to attract woman or looks..... This is the GTR (R35) section of this Forum and it should be no surprise to anyone that the R35 was the choice for most over many other makes such as Porsche or Ferrari........was for me.

Supplier installed it for me and told me that this 4 post model did not require securing to the floor but can if so desired..... I never Dyna bolted it down and it is very secure (heavy duty gauge metal and all powder coated.....) Comes in 3 phase or just normal...... Also provided are heavy duty removable casters so one can swing the whole hoist around the garage/shed...... Hoist locks in on all 4 posts every 6" or so....so when working on a Car or storing I lock in all for posts ...................................very safe......

You will need to own both ..........Buy the one that represents as a better purchase first and then own/drive it until the other becomes available at a must buy price....... No such thing as a perfect Car as they are all so different .......so why not own/test as many .............. PS: Naturally you sell one before you buy the other....

Very interested in Tyres as I have the Track settings on my R35 and will be replacing every 20 30 thousand k's I suspect (no Track Work)... So the Tyres you got are for STD size rims...? and I would also be interested in your Bridgestones......
