  1. Nice work. What software do you use???
  2. Life like cartoon! I like I like!!:uh-huh: Can you get a similar R33 pic?
  3. riggaP

    Looking for R32

A 10yo car with 100,000km on the clock... thats 10,000kms a year... Sounds like its had a pretty easy life to me...
  4. Porn while driving hmmmmm Cop: "So how did ya crash?" Driver: "I came round the corner and rammed someones ass!"
  5. I can help you with 1, 2, 3 and 5. Q1. Apline is a much better quality brand than Kenwood. Alpine have been doing the in dash TV for longer than anyone. In fact Alpine is prolly the reason why everyone else is making them these days, coz they were so successful. Anyone who says Kenwood is better is just havin a wank. The only problem is Alpine is more expensive... but justified i spose. Q2. In a word no, but you can get adaptors that convert from brand to brand. Last time I checked (bout 2 years ago) they were $80 from JB HiFi. Q3. Best bet is to get a hold of a mag that has reviewed it. Try "Incar Entertainment" or "Car Stereo Australia". They usually test drive anything new on the aussie market. From my experience Clarion = Quality. Q5. No worries
  6. Sorry guys but its still buggin me. I went to a tyre place today and spoke to the dude there who supported your theory for crap tyres, but, he also said that the technology in the high end rubber will hold better in the wet the bigger they get. So I guess everyone wins... S13 Silvia, how did you go with gettin the car fixed??
  7. Couldnt have said it better myself :uh-huh: I remember seeing a similar thing on ACA or TT AGES ago. Some dumb muzza who owned a 425ci (cant remember the exact size) V8 charger and cliamed that he could control his car perfectly at 300+km/h.... I think not. Micky Schu or Peter Brock maybe, but not Mr Muz at 1 Dik-ed St. He couldnt even get a commo around witches hats at 60km/h. Those people were chosen with the intention of generating a negative image towards HP cars... and they succeeded. Its just very frustrating!
  8. I understand the theory, but I can't believe thats what will happen in practice. There has to be a point where the more width of the rubber outweighs the amount of water they hold. ie the wider they are the more water they can hold before you get the aquaplane effect. I'll have to experiment and find out.
  9. :what: Does that mean if I put 14" 165s on the back I'll get more traction than 18" 265s???? So 1370kg on a 205 = more taction than 1370kg on 255 (19.6% bigger)????? Call me dumb but that does not make any sense whatsoever.
  10. Might be "easier to aquaplane" but if I upgrade to 255s, theres still 10cm more width on the ground. Wet or not 255s will hold better than 205s. The difference prolly wont be much in the wet but in theory should me more.
  11. I just realised something. Maybe I can add a polarizer to the EA and have as much power as the EA Brock!
  12. There was a report on Today Tonight (I think) on the polarizer not long ago. Apparently they're huge in the US. The fuel runs through it, and somehow ups the octane value. They dynoed an EF falcon and proved that it was 5rwkw better after the polarizer was installed. Not a bad mod considering they cost ~$50!
  13. I have an EA. 1988 GL, stock as a rock, no big cams, no extractors, no nothing, and on LPG. I got 89rwkw on the dyno!!! That thing must be claggggged! Unless Fords only give 1rwkw per mod!
  14. Too true. I have one on the rear bar that will not come off. Tried a heat gun, cut n polish, etc. Even big kevs goo remover, nothing will get it off. The bar could prolly use a respray anyway. None the less it looks a little... sorry a lot over done.
  15. Do QLD have the same rule up there???
  16. Winfield, you said in the first thread: 134kw is more than 125kw. The car is P plate restricted. Full stop, end of story. Reguardless if its on that 'list'. Wether or not the police will enforce the rule (like any other) is a completely different story. Most of the time they will, coz they can (bastards!). A mate of mine was pulled over driving a WRX on his Ps and lost his licence for 3 months. At the end of the day, if you want the car, get it. Dont let the first few years of P plate hell ruin your dream. Skylines are fantastic!
  17. I had a look and those lights on the front bumper don't actually have bulbs in them, they are obviously just there for looks?? I found out that only the last of the series 1 cars did have fog lights there (1995 build dates only). Weird....
  18. This may also help: http://forums.skylinesaustralia.com/showth...=&threadid=2034
  19. Try Srathfield, Gary's Car Radio, or any specialised car audio store. They have to be able to help.
  20. You able to get a few picks up???
  21. What do you want for the gauges. Email me [email protected]
  22. The tyres wernt changed during complience coz they're sold here in Oz. Bridgestones with 65% tred. Lucky coz it saved me $100s. Anyway after they die (shouldnt be too long now) its 255 rear, 235 front on a nice set of 18s! Hopefully I'll be able accelerate in the wet... even after a few more mods!
  23. The thing I forgot to mention is, when I snapped 3rd it was accidental. I just put that fraction too much power to those crappy stocky 205 tyres before they went balistic. The same thing happened to my cuz in his VS commo! Dont speak too soon, it may happen to you...
  24. EXCELLENT does not even begin to describe how good the J-spec service is! I can not speek highly enough of J-SPEC!!!
  25. Dude, its stuffed. Take it back...
