There are nutball drivers for every make and model of car out there. Any fool who can push an accelerator will "smoke their car up VL style" if they've got a complex about it (or, like you say, are inexperinced). The original point was, that most of the time, drivers of other vehicles think they've got something to prove to skylines. Not the other way round. Hell, I even had a guy in a Mirage want to run me a while back. I think I also remember doxx starting a thread and saying that a guy swapped positions with his gf at a set of lights for a drag!!! Its the actual Skyline itself (and its reputation) that causes bullshit street drags, not the Skyline driver. Imagine what Ferrari drivers must put up with!

In vic, plates are legally not allowed to be bent or cut. Slimlines will fit on the back without any hassle. You will need to put some form of spacer (between the plate and the bumper) on the front.

Laser could be dirty. All CDs could be dirty or scratched (unlikely I know). Try running a CD cleaner through it. The FM expander is for the radio so it shouldnt affect the playing of CDs. If its the stocky player just use this as an excuse to buy a new one !

Went yesterday. It was pretty ordinary. Too bloody small, not enough cars, and certainly not enough imports. The cars that were there wernt all that over the top either. They radio said there was an R34 GTR N1 but it was a GTR M-Spec (still pretty nice though). Few nice stereos but thats about it. Very disappointing.:thumbdwn:

This is my undersatnding (and experince) of it: If the BOV is too tight (or simply not enough pressure to open it), the air will travel back through the turbo, get chopped and make the flutter. If there is enough pressure to open the BOV (or the BOV is really loose), you get the psshht sound. SLY33 I think you're on the money when you say...

Just heard a story that "GTR Imports" got a car for someone, picked it up from the dock (without the buyer knowing), and now the car is nowhere to be found!
