  1. Also, you can get clutches that don't feel any heavier than stock ones Martin, that'd bite your face off and hold significant power without breaking. While still HD they're not (apparently) heavy to feel at all. Sorry about the english btw, so tired it's just plain silly to be awake.
  2. If you had a racing clutch (i.e on, or off, but not inbetween) you'd notice. How does it engage? Can you drive with it partly engaged, like parking? How hard does it bite? Are hill starts really awkward?
  3. For precisely this reason I stop as often as I can, which is usually dependent on my tool box location and how late I am =P
  4. Spectacular late entry to the forums there!
  5. Just change 'em bro. There's no point in not doing it, since gaskets are pretty dirt cheap and poor seals are preeeeeetty shit.
  6. That's at least 15 good solid burnouts worth of petrol too!
  7. Unscrew the clips holding it in and move it out of the way? Also, looks like if you undid the hicas bar from the other end you'd have more luck! Man it does suck to be working on a gravel driveway though =|
  8. Was thinking white... Until I saw the black picture. Every other color except black is homo!
  9. Ahh cheers man, I'll look into it!
  10. Well I'm just running a stocker atm, not sure which to go for self tuning. My skyline runs a Vi-Pec but that's a bit expensive for my silvia, since it'd be double what I paid for it =P
  11. For somebody starting from scratch could anybody give me an idea of what would be good to start self tuning on a silvia? I'm not looking to push serious power, and I'd be tuning it on the road. Cheers =D
  12. Don't you guys just drive to the pits in the middle of nowhere where they don't actually know what HID's are? I swear, take a trip to the country and pretend that your car came stock at 65mm off the ground with 0% tint, grunt fairly often, and possibly chew some barley during the conversation and you'll be fine!
  13. Haha, they'll never catch me! I'll dress up as an old lady when I drive it and they'll never think to pull me over.
  14. Mild hi-jack here. Say I buy a car that from factory, came with a turbo, but this was a non turbo model, and then I purchased and installed all the original turbo gear. Would I have to do an emissions test?
  15. You know, I don't think it's meant to work out this way, but my fuel map's a bit silly atm and I get better fuel economy driving like a lunatic than an old lady... Food for thought!
  16. It's actually pretty easy getting them in and out if you know what you're doing, there are just tricks you need to learn. Somebody in the tutorial section wrote a really good guide on it, but I've only stumbled on it by accident. If you need help when you've got them, then post on here. At the very least I'd come and do/help you do 'em, but you might even get somebody more spanner handy if you're lucky!
  17. Or... You could fork out for an ARC kit that doesn't have the piping going near the fan, and have the easiest job in the world?
  18. Don't you just buy coloured globes and then an opaque white peice of plastic?
  19. 160?!?! Drivel I say! I'm not so hot on organisation, your fine will go up by the pricely sum of either 12.50 or 13.50, I can't remember. You can also not pay it for several months, each time incurring the same thing, until you go to court and basically get told to pay it.
  20. Lowering springs are a disgusting idea. I can should you first hand what kind of HORRIBLE things will happen to your car if you run them. I got coilovers instead and not I'm turning the springs into a coffee table/desk-thing, which is probably the best thing you'll ever do with them.
  21. ^ +1 I really do think it's kinda scary that people who probably have little idea of how safety features are actually designed, will just start meddling with them willy nilly. I feel kinda jipped that my skyline didn't come with airbags! Removing them seems to me to be about the same level as saying "If I'm going around a corner REALLY fast, and I slam on the brakes, my front wheels will lock/skid and I won't be able to steer, so I decided to take them off". I seriously can't imagine the people who designed airbags forgetting to accommodate people who wear glasses. Just leave 'em in dude. Or ultimately, don't crash =]
  22. Just wanted a quick bit of info on some injector fittment stuff. Looking at buying some Denso 750cc injectors seconds hand from a guy here in Perth. He's selling them in an rb25 rail with the wiring. Just wondering (since I can't find any info on Denso injectors that helps) if this meant they'd be modified to fit that rail? Also, would somebody be able to briefly explain how injectors are actually mounted? Haven't had time to go injector shopping so all of this is new to me =] Cheers, Tim
  23. As am I. My friends were talking about cruising. Will post if anything happens =]
  24. Roofies to get out? I"m sure it's more of a lair than a bed. But seriously, what kind of thing are you looking at? I was having a look for a big black box kinda thing, on struts out of the wall. On the right track?
