  1. That is... The best fkn go-kart I ever did see
  2. Sweet unraveled kebab, you enjoy posting!
  3. Oh right. Yeh I see so little reason for this that I didn't even consider that there were people doing it... lol.
  4. Well... Yeh, obviously lol. This is like saying you had maxed your stock injectors at 200rwkw so you upgraded your injectors and now make 300rwkw, therefore the injectors gave you an additional 100rwkw. In reality it didn't, it was the other things you modified that gave you the power increase. I'm not sure what you were trying to show by posting this? I mean is that not the exact reason everyone upgrades their AFM, because they have maxed their stock item?
  5. Should also mention this video was taken after the car had been sitting for about 2 hours. You can see at the start of the video, the water temp gauge (on the left) was showing about 60 degrees and the oil temp was below 40. So it's not HOT hot, but it's still a bit warm. When I start the car for the first time after it has been sitting all night (so fully cooled off) it will start as soon as I turn the key.
  6. Ok so I'm still waiting on my users license for the NIStune software, unfortunately someone removed the part number sticker on my ECU so it's a pain the ass to get the license. But, I just went and filmed this video of my car: http://www.youtube.com/embed/Kvt3O58w_Ak This is not even the worst it has been, sometimes it will just do this over and over and over and I can sit there for 10 minutes and it just won't start. And randomly, I actually started the car just before I filmed this video and it started first shot, no issue. Does the video change anyone's opinion of what the issue could be? *EDIT* damn thing won't embed
  7. No, still trying to get my license for the NIStune software. My ECU has no part number on it so dunno what to do. Have emailed Matt but no reply.
  8. Well voltage is only one part of it, you need the wiring to be able to handle a higher amperage as well. Secondly, lots of people have problems with surging at idle and low rpm because aftermarket fuel pumps are designed to be run at alternator current.
  9. Lol wow, last week when I posted my thread about my hot start issue, a search returned no results. Now there's been like 3 in 4 days
  10. Welcome to the modified car scene
  11. Spotted a white 34 GTR on Reid Hwy heading towards Midland at about 5:20ish.
  12. Seems unlikely, but you have got it earthed yeh? When you say not turning on, does that mean it doesn't prime or do anything or you just can't start the car?
  13. To set the warning, you need to hold the left (I think, havent set mine for awhile lol) button on the controller for a few seconds. It will beep and the needle will move to the set warning position. Then use the buttons to increase or decrease the set warning position. I'm out at the moment but will be home in about an hour, if you still haven't got it sorted then I'll look up the instructions in the manual and walk you through it. Mind you, what you've described doesn't really sound like an issue with the peak boost warning. Any chance you could get a video of what's happening??
  14. It is possible, check your dip-stick. As James said, best to be getting the oil changed if it is unknown. But the fact you said it sits around 4 bar while driving makes me think the viscosity hasnt dropped that far yet.
  15. If your oil levels are ok, I'd put it down to the gauge. My mates 32 did the exact same thing, was just the gauge.

  17. Checked out the Hypergear range??
  18. That is so completely different, I don't even know where to start
  19. Using NIStune...
  20. Hey all, I did a bit of a search but couldn't find anything similar to my issue. The problem: When I crank the car after the engine has been running for a bit, it doesn't really want to fire. Sometimes it will crank for a bit longer than usual and then fire, sometimes it will crank and I can hear it trying to fire but it dies if I don't give it some throttle, other times it will just crank and crank and crank and refuse to fire even if I give it throttle, and sometimes it just starts normally. There is no problem at all on cold start, it always fires instantly when I turn the key. The background: I've had a slight hot start problem ever since I had my injectors (and turbo, but that seems unlikely to be related) installed and the car retuned. However it was never so bad that it refused to fire or required any throttle, it just made a strange sound when I cranked it and took a bit longer to start than it did when cold. It has since gotten worse after I relocated my battery to the boot, though I'm not sure if it is likely to be related or not. I had it at my tuner last week trying to sort out another issue, and I did ask him to take a look at the hot start but he said when he tried to have a look it fired normally so wasn't sure what the issue was. The question: My first guess is that this is most likely the hot start mixtures? Is there anything else it could be, eg. electrical problem or failing sensor?
  21. Mmm just re-read his post. I thought he had installed the NIStune and was wondering if he needed to get a Z32 to replace the standard AFM. OP, how far did it get in tuning? Did your tuner adjust the k-constant to suit the new AFM?
  22. If you're not maxing out the standard AFM, there is no need to upgrade.
  23. You sir, have way too much money it would seem. Wanna give me 6 hundgee?
  24. Lol yeh, I've done 20xxxkms in three years of owning my car I'm just worried about the sensor becoming less accurate. With no calibration system it seems a bit more of a risk to the AEM than it does to the Innovate.
