    The cracking is internal, but the pain is literally in between where the quads end and the knee cap starts. It just feels like it's bruised, like as you said , I've whacked it on a table a couple days ago and still a little sore. Maybe from squatting too deep? Or leg press? Also my right hip seems to very slightly click when I walk. It's only just noticeable, but I wonder if it resonates from the knee cap or if it's it's own issue. 2 week break from gym in Singapore hopefully fixes these.

    Do it empty bar first. You likely won't do 70kg off the bat coming from the smith machine. You need to get your form right and it is very different without the smith machine bar to stabilise yourself. Once you can do it deeply with an empty bar, then start adding weight.

    lol Troy I have the exact same injury/issue on my right knee and I have no idea what caused it. It doesn't hurt horrible but enough to concern me. That knee I also have to crack every morning for it to get full mobility. Have been for a couple years now, but a bit more frequently these days.

  9. Cool. Cause I cbf with single player missions etc. I've never bothered too much with them in GTA games; only played online or run amok in my own world. But will put effort into leveling up the player in GTA online! Plattsy finally has an XBL SAU friend
  10. Curiously, when I first logged onto GTA online it put me straight into a race with 7 other guys and then into a mission with 3 guys, before I could roam around freely in sessions. Is this the normal / standard welcome for newbs to GTA online, or is there a way to skip it? Not that I care too much, I'm just curious if everyone gets that and it paired me up with some other noobs, or if I accidentally entered missions with randoms. Nonetheless, after the mission was complete I gunned down everyone who helped me, ala the joker in The Dark Knight. I felt like a flamin mongrel, but I was laughing too much. Then picked fights with pros who owned me and ended up in really personal battles with other randoms that sometimes went 16-15 cause we kept respawning near each other and running each other over. Good fun! Does playing single player mode help you with GTA online or are they independent of each other?
  11. Deadlifts haven't seen much progress since I last posted. Have just been maintaining with minor increases here and there while I focus on shoulder rehabilitation and pullups/bench. My form is better now, though; my back is less sore afterwards. Still getting a bit of hitching on the max weights 90kg x 10 130kg x 10 160kg x 5 180kg x 2 185kg x 1

  14. Hahaha if you've got it, flaunt it figgy Cheers dude. My volume sets are around 80-90kg ATG. 1RM after that is usually 110. Also do 5-7 second pause squats after that; between 80-90kg. When I first started ATG squatting, I was pretty tired after a set of 40kg x 10! So much harder than parallel. In all honesty I'd like my squat 1RM to be higher...just to match my bench and deads...but I'm pretty happy as long as the legs are growing, and they are. Also have a couple of leg niglets that I'd like to sort out with a break from gym and then start proper 1RM training for the squat.

  18. lol in year 10 all I did was bicep curls, so I had a mean set of bis exacerbated by a lack of muscle everywhere else. And I quote "you look like you've sewn tennis balls into your arms".
  19. 6ft is hardly short lol. But yeah agreed. There is ego to be had from impressing guys; it need not be sexual. However...if you can impress girls, that can be another way to impress guys...or make them hater jealous dream boats! Anyway, the important thing here is...we deadlift.

If you take offense to the picture there's a good chance you interpreted your own life as a negative contrast to it and acknowledge it as something you'd like to be. It's like when I was in high school and used to roll my shirt sleeves up when playing sport. I had guys say to me "You think you're tanked, don't you?". "No, you think I'm tanked. I've just rolled my sleeves up." If I was skinny they wouldn't have said anything.
  21. Not these days, and not most females. When they are saying that Bieber and Usher are ripped...I'm at the mid to upper end of the desirable muscle scale. I've actually had a couple of people in the past say my chest/boobs were too big for a guy, lol! I think wanting to impress guys or impress girls with muscle are two very different sizes.

And you're right I'm pretty happy with the frame I have
