  1. 38 litre tank in the BMW R80 Paris Dakar 660km to a tank
  2. Surprised someone hasn't created a motorbike with a long range tank on it for touring...something 50-60L etc.
  3. You spelt German wrong, and that's the Australian flag.
  4. IMO cars that are "fairly" priced don't sell in a matter of hours...particularly 20+ year old classics...even a couple of days is quick. I say underpriced because another 2-3k on this would still have moved it on in less than a week.
  5. Underpriced, hence sold within hours
  6. Seems to be the engine of choice for an event that has so much pulling power it can fluctuate the cost of the second hand engine market
  7. He links his old for sale thread containing a price 6k less that no one was prepared to pay back then? Sounds like his missus has told him to sell the car...
  8. You're lucky we're not one week out from Race Wars
  9. Brrrrrrrrrrrshhh...k. *dial tone* "National Towing, you're speaking with Kim" "Yeah hi it's Greg again"
  10. All relative methinks...it used to be that high 20s were the permanent carsales residents...then it was low 30s... Even if it's only the cheaper ones moving, the cheapest are now no longer <30k listed Hard to tell where the investment in one would top out. USA market availability did small wonders for R32s, but will the hype/buzz wait for 33s and 34s? As the cars become rarer, parts more expensive / harder to find, could be an eventual decline in interest
  11. If I recall, Alvin picked up his 32R for 12-13k when they were at their lowest
  12. Thought 33R prices were going insane Cheapest 34R on carsales is 75k lol Nearly bought one for 38k years ago
  13. Come on dude it looks about 30 pages long and says owner's manual on the front
  14. Didn't sound amazing on my phone, would have to judge in real life...not that that's gonna happen anytime soon. Was like any 6 cyl straight out exhaust to me and like it's constantly on song. I prefer exhaust notes that change through the range, like my GTS-T, which idles softly and is "sporty" but really screams up top.
  15. TA22 GT Celica with extractors changed my mind about 4 cylinder engines...lumpy thing sounded like a small V8
  16. I disagree...though most of them have better inductions than exhaust notes RB25 mild steel without a cat converter E46 M3...dat rasp These two changed my mind about 6cyl exhaust notes
  17. Only milk and juice should come in 2 liters faggot /commodriver
  18. They should do a 380z with a high comp version of the VR38
  19. To be technically accurate, there is a billion barrels of oil down there Successfully getting it out of the ground in an economical way is the hard part / takes patience / is the reason why people are dumping their shares over announcements that don't say "yeehaw we dun struck oil". And since people now expect it to sink down after each announcement, bad news is no longer needed to drive further falls - only announcements and expectation it will drop. This happened last time with the first well. Actually had good news flowing in and the price still went down til we hit half a cent. Hopefully the other thing that happened last time also happens.
  20. I hope he does, we will see 10 cents in a matter of hours
  21. Market responds irrationally to operation update stating they've done what they said they were going to = always a bargain buy, maybe not relative to next week's prices, but likely next year's.
  22. Sony Xplod 5000w tweeters (.5w rms)
  23. If he's anything like me the stuff will still be in his garage
  24. Would I beat him in a straight line?
