  1. Just got back from my site trip......Thanks for all your comments guys and gals It has now been a week since I sold my line and I'm already suffering withdrawal symptoms I can't wait to take the R around the block for the first time At this stage I looks like I'll be regoing her in Vic around the 16th Oct and then trucking her over to WA, so by the end of Oct I should be able to give people a ride
  2. Well just got back from my site trip to see all the comments above. Thanks to all for their comments I can't wait to take her for a spin and to all those asking for a ride I'll be more than happy to do so if I have the time. I should be in melb getting her rego'd for the week of 16th Oct. As for the comment on how hard it is to keep a black car clean, I have already owned a black skyline so am well aware how hard it can be
  3. Actually Mitchy considering I have been looking for around a year I think you stole the idea off me
  4. Sure does Alpha....although I think I'll learn to drive it with the 250 and when I'm confident wind up the boost Thanks Zac...I see your white beast in the carpark everynow and again...still looks good
  5. Tom....not too sure mate. Thanks Mikey....yep purple bits are indeed HKS items. Exact model is unknown at this time. At the moment it has been mildly modded with PFC and N1's etc producing 250awkw at 15psi and 290awkw at 18psi Will PM you mate....
  6. Cheers Troy....I would've loved to keep her mate but I think I would have had to throw a lot of $$ at it in the coming year just to keep it on the road so I think I hopped out at the right time West - Definitely coming back to Vic mate....Melb will always be my home
  7. Sure is Tom....with around 20,000km on it Sash....I hope you are talking about the R cause the gtst left on Sat As for you driving it....lol we'll see
  8. Hahah well the pics were there this morning, but all is fixed Thanks for the comments guys
  9. Hahaha thanks for your comments Points go to GTRgeoff....stock R34 motor with around 20,000k on it Turbos are r34 N1's and already has a PFC tune of around 250awkw Nice one saff lol....Ferni I know, I know! I had those on my gtst and in the dry they were ok but in the wet they were a nightmare!!
  10. Car is SOLD Thanks for your interest.
  11. Thanx Bec I'm sure after the first drive of my new baby, I'll forget about the old girl
  12. I knew this day would come eventually, but it was still sad . After around 2 months of advertizing I finally sold my skyline over the weekend....and boy was it weird seeing someone else drive my car away! I imported her waaaay back in 2001, stock as a rock, before the modding bug took hold and ended up with around 200rwkw by 2003/4. Naturally you can't enjoy the car fully on the road without loosing your licence these days, so I got my CAMS licence in 2004 and took her to the track. With many a fun time had at tracks like Sandown, Winton and PI the car stayed reliable, and in 2005 I took out my class in the SAU Vic championship and almost took out the overall chamionship (was pipped at the post by Snowie). The car has always put a smile on my face everytime I drove it with very little going wrong in that time. So with a heavy heart, RIP RFB-401, may you give your new owner as much motoring enjoyment as you have given me over the last 5 years....... Now that I've done the sad farewells, it is time to welcome the new addition to my family, and I can't wait till I get her in my driveway I have spent the last year keeping my eye out for the right replacement and when I stumbled upon this I knew it would be a fitting replacement . It is a mildly modified 1997 series 3 GTR with something a little different under the bonnet (I'm sure the anoraks will pick it in a second ). I will be regoing it in Vic around mid-Oct before transporting it to Perth while I am there for work. lol I guess I'll have to change my username too Cheers Ant95GTR

  14. Good work on selling the skyline there Niz
  15. Hahaha djr I do know of those protests but my info didn't come from the records of those protests
  16. I also have heard (on very good authority I might add) that the sierra turbos didn't exactly conform to the rules and regs at the time ...that might explain the ability as djr81 posted above to reliably push so much boost through the motor
  17. I am finally getting some serious interest in my car mainly from the carsales ad. I would love for my car to stay in the SAU club though, so if you are interested in a track championship (SAU Vic), class winning car, get in contact with me
  18. As the market stands.... 28k for rough 95 gtr with mods low-mid 30's for clean 95-96 often with rebuilt engine and mods high 30's for 97+ gtr
  19. Congrats to all....sounds like you guys had an awesome time and great results by all Snowy....great pic above mate....they grow so quick don't they
  20. Best of luck to all competing in this.....is great to see SAU taking part in these type of events To those going to spectate we want pics dammit
  21. Happy Birthday Joel!! Hope you have a great day
  22. Was very sad news to hear RIP Brocky and best wishes to his family....I also wish his co driver, Mick Horne (I think!) a speedy recovery.....
  23. Happy Birthday Geoff Hope all your b'day wishes come true
  24. Great stuff Niz......I know how capable they are....I was up against one at a deca day in Vic...only power mods were intake and exhaust but it had a crap load of suspension work.....even my 200rwkw gtst was humbled by it (not by much but even so). Enjoy it and I hope to see you at a track or skidpan soon
  25. Well I've had one of geoffs bars on my line for about 8 months. The quality of the workmanship was top notch. Considering this 8 months includes a couple of outings to wanneroo raceway and the fact that these bars are fitted to some very quick victorian gtrs and gtsts, I'd say they hold up very well.
