  8. Car is SOLD Gday all, Everyone I have met through SAU both here in WA and in Vic, know how much I love my car, and this decision has not been made easily . After much mental anguish I have come to the decision that I need to sell my pride and joy, and move onto other things. It has been serviced every 5000 kilometers or less which included regular changes of diff, brake and gearbox fluids. Needless to say only the best fluids have been used. Specs 1995 series 1.5, R33 GtsT type-M Black in colour Copy 400R front bar Original R33GTR rear wing with cf blade Original R33GTR bonnet splitter Nismo carbonfibre wing & door pillar trim Tow hook loops (front & rear) Vision alarm Just clicked over 90,700klms Engine Standard internals ATP Stage II high-flowed T3/T4 turbo Custom made 22 row intercooler K&N air filter Turbosmart Plumb-back BOV Bosch 044 in-tank fuel pump Sard fuel pressure regulator Splitfire coilpacks Wolf 3D ecu (Rank Rotary Dyno Tune) Radiator air duct HKS turbo back 3.5” exhaust system Drivetrain and Suspension Bilstein Shocks Whiteline Springs Whiteline front adjustable caster kit Nismo front strut brace (with brake master cylinder brace) R33 GTR rear strut brace Hicas lock bar Race brakes rb74 pads Stainless steel braided brake lines 17” x 7.5” R34 Gtt Rims Dunlop SP9000 235/45ZR17 (80% tread left) Interior Clarion head unit with remote Clarion 6 stack CD player Alpine speakers x6 Re-trimmed steering wheel/gearshift & handbrake boot in Alacantra Nismo 320km/h dash Defi gauge set (boost/oil pressure/oil temp) Nismo Aluminium Gearknob Fire extinguisher Full Nissan skyline mat set (x5) As you can see I've spent a lot of money maintaining and improving this car and I know it is a strong performer. On top of this it was built with various government agencies in mind (such as the EPA) and as such I have never had problems with defects etc. I wash and generally maintain this car regluarly as well as driving it very sedatly on the road - afterall why chance the loss of licence when you can take it to the track. I should also point out that when the car needed something new, I replaced the items with no hesitation and at any cost. Even with the plentiful 'cheap' R33's out there, you could not build it for the price I'm selling it at. Achievements Dyno 208 rwkw (approx 280hp), Autosalon '05 Dyno (Chart Below) As you can see it is a solid performer With a strong midrange. Track 1:12.9 (Calder) 1:48.7 (Winton) 1:36.6 (Sandown) 2:07.3 (Phillip Island) 1:04.9 (Barbagallo) Price $18,000 without the Abflug cf rear diffuser. I will not accept trades. Please PM me or contact me on 0403 242 085. I should note that this car is currently in WA. NO Test Pilots. I am more than happy to take you on as many drives as you want, however NOBODY will be driving my car until I see a deposit.
  9. Dan, I don't know if this is going to help but I suppose if you are really desperate.....I know a few of the vic R34 gtr drivers in team wang have upgraded their suspn and might have the stock units lying around. Try Pm'ing Snowman or aaron34 (just have a look in the vic section). Cheers.
  10. Happy belated B'day Pete.
  11. Chi....short answer is NO. Basically if you need to wait a couple of weeks for a part to be delievered its ok or just using your car to pop up to the shops not a problem. But we all know that we like to give it a squirt every now and again....add to that any emergency braking that might happen.....do you really want to risk your pride and joy using undersize rotors?? I should also point out that your front brakes do most of the work when your car brakes.
  12. Chi, You didn't specify front or rear so will give you both..... Front - 28mm thick (new 30mm) Rear - 16mm thick (new 18mm) Cheers.
  13. hey buddy...that sounds perfectly normal. I don't have a water temp gauge but I do have an oil one. Normal driving I'd see anywhere around 80degs and water temps are a little higher than the oil temp. Spirited driving I'd see 90degs and over.
  14. Tofu....u have PM
  15. Try Just Jap or look in the GB section as BassJunky on these forums was making them at some stage Cheers
  16. Don't know where you guys are getting your info from but I looked into this pretty carefully before fitting my gauges. According to Vicroads (unless someone corrects me otherwise) - * the gauge cannot obstruct the drivers vision * the gauge cannot be put in a spot where either the driver or passengers head would make contact in an accident. ie no a-pillar, not on the 'front' face of the dash (like just above the glovebox in a 33)
  17. Hahaha.....Happy Birthday Liz Will catch up for a quick beer fri night
  18. Thanks heaps for the postage James/Bec....just let me know about costs and I'll re-imburse. Can't wait to get it
  19. Badga......also check all the vacuum hoses around the engine bay...particularly one leading to the regulator at the front of the fuel rail. Cheers
  20. Almost 100% that it is belt slip flash. Check that all the belts are set to the correct tension and also check for any leaks around the belts as a bit of water/coolant can also cause the belts to slip. Cheers.
  21. Dude....might help if you posted a price and some pics Cheers
  22. Nah mate only SAU Vic members....
  23. Ok I couldn't find the thread in the tutorial section so I reproduced the article from the SAU Vic club newsletter. Thanks goes out to Al who wrote the article
  24. Sam, there is also a thread in the tutorial section on how to make one....will try and dig it up for you...
