  6. Dear all, As today is the last day on the job, I won't have as much internet access to SAU....well at least until I start my next job So I figure this is the best time to write this. I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone I have met here in WA through SAUWA. Ever since I arrived in Jan '06 and went on my first cruise you guys have welcomed me and my family with open arms . Also I'd like to thank the committee.....you guys make the club what it is today and I can only see it going from strength to strength in the future. SAUWA members please don't forget that the club is here to run events for you, so if you have any suggestions for events etc don't be afraid to approach a member of the committee and make a suggestion! Anyway those of you who are about to break out the moet to celebrate the departure of a mexican back to the east don't do so just yet The job I am working on in Melbourne is actually a WA job and I will have to make site visits, so I will be back lol! Also I will drop by the WA section of the forums when I can to catch up with you all. Until I see you all again, safe (but fun ) driving cya, Ant.
  7. Congrats Joel....a mate who test drove one said it was a nice thing to drive and I'm sure you'll enjoy it

  10. Congrats to all....and a big thank you to those leaving
  11. While this has been true for the 4000 series rotors with the stupid 'wiper' slot design, I am yet to hear of a 5000 2-piece rotor crack after track use.
  12. Looks good Patrick
  13. Unfort mate I'm not going to be here for it....I move back to vic at the end of the month. I was super keen on doing barb in the R so am doing the no-speed limits thing on the 1st.
  14. You and me both ferni.....I don't want this to be my first track day back in Vic only to be sent home early I understand why we are pinged by the EPA on the road but I fail to see why we are pinged on the track as well (and yes I do know the reasons behind it!)
  15. Djr...as others have said....undo/remove the tabs and then remove the plastic. All i did on my 33 was pull the plastic off which left the dbl sided tape stuck to the bodywork. Used a bit of shellite on a piece of cloth and the tape and goo came right off without a fuss.
  16. Happy Birthday Mav Have a great day champ and we'll have an ale when I get back....
  17. Yep no problems paying that....after all I have to pay $150 for an unorganized (well compared to the SAU vic/WRX events anyway ) track session at Barbagallo!! I'm Hoping this will be my first track session after getting back to vic When are the supp regs etc avail bec?
  18. Pete I do believe that the part is exactly the same as a 300zx one as well.....worth a try considering they are hard to get atm.
