  1. Was this on?? I was looking out for it but no luck...
  2. Al, Sorry to hear about the dramas you are having I'm sure Nat would have some contacts if you want to get hold of me otherwsie....there is a little thing called the National Tenancy Register. You have to be a real estate agent or strata title holder to put peoples name on but it is linked to the credit register and means that they'll never be able to rent a place again and the chances of getting any kind of credit are not very high.....might be worth looking into.
  3. They're not the Weds mate but I'm happy for you to trial fit the RE30's....
  4. Thanks for the wishes guys
  5. Hahaha good work Bec Look forward to seeing it
  6. you have PM
  7. Thanks mate good to know that you got it with no dramas
  8. Cheers Snowy...I tried to find the specs but couldn't find them! Ferni/snowy put me down with you guys to save a bit of postage
  9. Good work ferni.....so does the usb thing come with the kit? If not does it store the lap times in the unit for a period of time?
  10. RIP... I hope that this reinforces the fact that if you street race you are not only putting your life at risk but other peoples too.
  11. Ok I couldn't find my first gtst post so heres one for the gtr..... 12. Bris, I reckon Richard is spot on there. Like you say if the point of all this is to see what mods made a car go faster there is no point having the slowest person doing around the 1.20 mark around sandown as most people who are just starting out will be no where near those times. +1 for the lists to be expanded to top 20 times (where needed!)
  13. why oh why do these threads continue to pop up..... First ask yourself what you want from the car....if its for a show-pony or drifter go the 34gtt as it'll be a lot cheaper....if you want motorsport go the gtr.... Fair enough ask peoples opinion (but this has been done before) but at the end of the day its personal choice
  14. For your 30k I'd look for a rebuilt 32gtr. When looking at a 33 gtr the only thing you'll get for 30k is one with a worn motor and turbos (generally). Be aware that you are buying a car with a few years behind it so set aside money for general repairs.
  15. Tops link Al About time the Gumball came to Oz
  16. No question that a 32 or even 33 gtr will struggle in the reliability stakes against a new car like the evo 9. That being said you try to find a stock 32 gtr for sale.....most by now have already had some work done to them. Yes the evo is a much lighter car and is therefore easier on both the driver and car to get a quick lap out of it. However if you compare them on a cost vs cost basis, I think 1/2 the cost of an evo will get you a well sorted 32 gtr with enough mods to beat it on a track.
  17. While I agree with what you said troy, I can stick my hand up to say that I am (essentially) running a GTR with a std engine, gearbox, brakes, diffs and to a degree turbos and suspn. While not being the quickest car out there on the day I figure that a placing of around 20th out of approx 70 cars isn't bad considering most of the cars that were quicker had a lot of money spent on the bits you mentioned....well either that or a far more talented driver :P
  18. Nice one Matt, thats a great result over the std figures and kudos for doing it yourself
  19. R33 gauge cluster SOLD.
  20. Congrats to everyone for putting in some great laptimes I was pretty happy with my 1.26 and with a bit to learn around corners 2,3 and the last two corners onto the straight there is prob a high 1.24 in there somewhere. Time to get my susp. sorted and bring on June
  21. Oh wells.....After all the dramas you've been having I only hope the the month or so break between this round and the next gives you time to sort it/
  22. Sorry to hear snows......un-resolved as in you haven't tracked the problem down or having trouble fixing it?
  23. Lol thats not going to help him at the drags Go the suspension and brakes if circuit racing is your thing otherwise go the power upgrades you have suggested. I would however get quotes elsewhere as the prices listed from xspeed seem a little high.
  24. I am in Melb and I have replied to your PM
