  2. LOL i dont drink beer asshole, actually I rarely drink at all.
  3. I MIGHT be able to help mate, give me a buzz tomorrow in work hours. 0431 598 320 Nic
  4. Apart from the replies in this forum, there's maybe another 5 Ceffies in Perth...dunno if any Ceffy owner's are on AntiLag.
  5. LOL i'll swap you, my stock kit, for your kit, i'll pay for the exhaust and cage, and freight if you can cram it in They cant be that hard to find, I've seen eBay sales go up and come down because they got crashed before end of sale, so hunt around ? You reckon around 100, on road? or total? I think there'd be more counting the trackies.
  6. Fixed. I live near Midland, never had drama's. Parked on the streets near Northbridge once and my car was emptied, but unharmed. That sounds like some really bad luck man, I'd say somebody has a grudge, either that or a bad weekend. Perth is turning shithouse, espeically Northbridge.
  7. How come people stick to 4 stud? Its only an extra 5 minutes at the wrecker to take off the 5 stud hubs when you grab bigger calipers and rotors? well actually, depends how old they are, but still. If you guys do have a Perth Ceffy cruise without me, make sure one of the meet points is my house in Swan View backstreets, so i can still feel some love. Should be rocking just after christmas at this rate.
  8. This is a good example of why you shouldnt pay other people to touch your car unless you really really need to. Theyre not hard to find man, hit up some wreckers, even these forums or eBay, and give it to your mechanic. He'll try n shaft you with a massive price if you let him find one.
  9. post this in the Queensland section maybe
  10. Not alot. VQ has the same bell housing as RB gearboxes. Some little universal shit is interchangeable and thats about it.
  11. Its easy as if you have all the correct pipes and lines. PM me if you want some pics of what a stockie setup looks like and some help.
  12. Teacher - 1 Student - 0 ? I Reckon....
  13. If we deleted a thread every time the problem was solved, we wouldnt be allowed to flame people who dont search. So, spill the beans buddy! chop chop!
  14. How can a shop quote $xxx to get xxx HP ??
  15. ok, shut up fella's. Last night I was tired, today I was typing fast so I could hide what I was actually doing from the boss, and no excuse for the last typo. You get what I mean though. What do PS/Xbox owners have to say? Surely it'd be much easier than binary steering on the PC ?
  16. meant to type quater up there by the way, took me a while to read my own post just then, haha.
  17. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/search.html&f=23
  18. Actually....you can do that. Get a small tower case, you can plug yout TV into your card, and you can get wireless controllers for PCs...but its still a couple of KGs heavier than any other console, Handling is like ProStreet...with enough practice you'll get the hang of it, but then as soon as you go back to another racing game, you'll suck at it, being used to Shift. I experience massive understeer, others the opposite. I think with a properly calibrated wheel, and pedals, it might be a fun game. I'll admit, i think PS3 would be easier for steering, since you can control how much steer you give, ie, wuater, half, full, where as a keyboard, with the arrows, its either no steer, or full lock, unless you've got a wheel. Its starting to become fun since I've got the hang of drifting now...almost.
  19. Do R32s even have a port for consult support? I thought they relied on the flashes to throw codes ?? What is the arguement between you, and the people giving you your qualification? Since none of us work there, we cant just walk in a stick up for you How intermittent ? more details man, it could be a trillion things...well...lots of things, at least
  20. The first connection isfine, just one isnt connected, it looks like there is some solder already on the glass, where all the strips return to, which is why I thought soldering the tab/end of the connection into the metal was how it connected...that, and I thought I'd read somewhere its just soldered in. Little problems like this are making me consider just selling up the Ceffy would shut alot of people up.
  21. Whats the total? Anybody seen any government roads stats or something? I'll bet 200 tops to be safe, and lean more towards 100 tops, including track cars? Laurels, half that figure Cima/Gloria/Cedric, half that figure again ?
  22. Yeah, especially on the Freeway, NoR, alot of wankers dont take into consideration the longer stopping distance for the heavy vehicle they just cut off in their 4WD/Tarago/Merc/BMW/R35 GTR. My point is that on the insurance papers, it will be the truck driver listed as fault, if he was cut off or not, which is f**ked. Also agree, alot of super high performance vehicle onwers (ie R35 GTRs) cant be found on this forum, they only buy such cars to match their haircuts and sorrow because their ex wife got the kids, the house and the other 5 cars. Twats with way too much money and a little package.
  23. Well if you've owned those cars you should be right without our help shouldnt ya? Wouldnt be expensive man, unless you're paying labor for all the mods, but that defeats the purpose of doing the mods anyway. Alot of these "highly modded" prices include a labor value. My mate bought a Cressida for $4000 with the 1JZ in it already, he got it running and wanted $14'000 for it, actually offered me a mates rate of $11'000...
  24. Hahaha nice stretch fit for the rears!! They look f**kin mint man. Gonna keep them that color? or go black? Either way they'll look sick.
  25. Non turbo - go for a Silvia Cheaper insurance, and slightly less cop attention. Overall running costs will be cheaper too.
