  1. Not fussed on price, as long as its a decent ride with alot of damper to play with. D2s are about $1600 + shipping, about 7 kg both ends, and look like sex, but been told theyre shit, anyone care to back up or battle that claim ? I'll check out what these K-Sports are like, I guess they're my fastest option already being in Perth. Got your coilies yet dude?
  2. Whats out there? I've seen a few brands around, but dunno about how they'd go, I've never had coilovers and dunno what different spring rates feel like, but I've gathered Tein's SuperDrifts for the A31 (10KG front / 8KG rear) would feel more like replacing the suspension with a fixed iron rod than actual suspension I've been advised to keep away from the cheaper D2s Im able to get a full set of K-Sports for $1500 (trade price FTW), but haven't asked what the rates are yet. Im a litle confused about what can be used from the S13 option board. Ideally, I want something that is half comfortable on the street but I can knock around every now and then (....at a race track, of course). Suggestions please ?
  3. Nice looking Ceffy mate. What kit is that you've got on? Looks like a modified factory kit, but not quiet an Autech kit ? Looks awesome...except for your Intercooler not sitting level, that looks a bit weird, make sure you cable tie that back up properly hey ? haha
  4. LOL #1 LOL #2 (Comment)
  5. Thats pretty handy. On a few CarDomain pages, people have put them in the main centre dash, right in front of the passenger (facing passenger?) as well as on top, facing the driver, but I think at that distance, you couldnt possibly read them when going sideways at 70 through a roundabout?? That, and whoever has THAT many gauges either likes boys, or has some kind of mental retardation where they froth at the mouth and have dumb idea's and shit. Nah mate, its still naked, I'm saving for coilovers and fixing all the bullshit, paint last I think, with a kit
  6. ^ ^ ^ Your Ceffy has no CD player though! I know, you said single DIN, but is there still room for a deck ? I thought the gauges would be just a tad too big.
  7. There are camera's in the tunnel. Speed Camera's and for traffic control purposes, and the cops are cracking down on it anyway.
  8. So your Ceffy used to be auto as well hey ?

  10. Now that you've said that, Murphy's Law will have it that you blow a tyre next week. If you're gonna mount the fire extinguisher inside, go drifter style, passenger side of the gearbox.
  11. There'll be a sub frame you can secure the extinguisher holder to (that big plate that goes behind the passenger seats even ?). For everything else, get a box dont even worry about securing it, it wont move if its all together.
  12. In the interest of not being a lemon yourself, don't buy a 33 (you'll notice I tend to bash R33s around here...) Consider importing a 32 GTR (cheaper in Japan but will work out to the same figure after importing and complaince) but you may have a bit more security with the condition of it. R34s are newer and nicer, as has already been said, and probably in better shape, seing as R33 drivers cant afford a 34, they thrash the next cheapest option instead....haha If you still have other cars as options on your board, you'll find a decent Supra for around 20k, or something newer like RX8s (if you're a girl...)
  13. $300 for a Blitz dump pipe ??? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the dump pipe is the same for RB20 and 25, I got my split dump pipe for my 20 from Jap Parts Plus for $130, included new bolts and gaskets, its decent quality.... how the hell do Blitz go for $300, you must get one hell of a sticker with it. Consider a high flow panel, but if you do get rid of the stock intake, take the box out only, keep the snorkel on that sits above the radiator, and line up your pod so it sits right behind the back of the snorkel, gives you a little bit of cold air into the pod, wont make much difference, but will help, especially on hot days. Good luck
  14. Your next challenge is to find me an ENGLISH manual for an A31 Cefiro ...
  15. LOL, Ceffy cruise once mine is running ? I always miss out How big are the spacers? I've got 5mm FTW (dunno why theyre even there, dont make a difference) I thought Z32 were 5 stud ? maybe the R32 GTS brakes ? (bigger calipers with Nissan written on it, 4 stud, slotted) ?
  16. Im no Skylines expert, but is that REALLY a GTR? or just badged ? If it is a GTR, and he tried to drift, in daylight....epic fail If he just badged it as a GTR.....epic fail.
  17. This got anything to do with those few panel's missing off the walls and barrier damage? Or was that from the Monaro/Crumpledoor crash a few weeks ago?
  18. Dont ask how I found this: Good shit starts at 2:30
  19. Not that difficult, just time consuming, atleast half a day, although if you've done it before you'll know how to get to the core without taking most of the shit out. Extreme yoga, being sliced up by metal subframes and frequent course language are all on the menu Tip, as you take screws out, put them into a plastic money bag, and tap the bag to whatever panel or sumbframe theyre for, so when putting it a ll back together, you use the right screws and you wont have any left over.
  20. Try S13 / J30 (Maxima) / R32 J30 Maxima interior (pillars, roof lining and sunroof) are very very similar if not identical, but obviously not much help to you seing as all your J30s are LHD over there, unless you imported a LHD A31.
  21. Do you know anyone with a spare Ceffy laying around in Perth? I might be needing one, dunno yet. I know of about 8-10 road registered, and about another 5-10 track only, definately rare in Perth, JustCar had to ask me all sorts of shit about them because apparently they've never insured one before ? Putting the 35R onto the RB20E ..... LOL, mad bastard, poor thing would last 5 minutes, tops, before you start seing pistons and gear teeth on the road in your rear view mirror.
  22. Stuff from THREAT SIGNAL's newbie (Vigilance)
  23. In the stickies, mistifre under boost from 5000rpm Cracked coilpacks, unless its something else for you?
  24. Kits gotta be ordered or created in Perth, cost would be roughly the same as shipping one from over East (might as well get some vented guards at the same time), a mildly modded Ceffy goes around 10-15k in Perth, but quiet often alot more (half cuts, rolling shells or damaged ones go around 5k), so again, sometimes cheaper to buy over East and get it shipped. NZ Have Ceffies laying around for $1500 ...
  25. What happens if you get a yellow for your exhaust (too loud, hanging too low, etc), you think the guy at the pits is going to believe that a factory exhaust is responsible for the black marks up the rear bumper and noise complaints ? they're not that stupid. Paying $480 every time you cop a yellow ISNT cheaper than $1200+ to get the setup you do want legal, then neither police or the guys at the pits can argue, you dont have the hassle of changing it every time you are cursed with a yellow.
