mazda 3 = new version mazda 323 astina for people who dont care about cars. we'll forgive the thought of the perps car being a old lancer since it may have been dark and plenty of things going on around you when you drove past. Bbut you might want to look at all the pics throughout the papers and net. one of the pics even has a close up of the 626 on the back of the car. -
Spotted the lime green 33 with black boot, wing and bonnet outside my work in Phillip. Has a very nice lumpy cam idle!

If police started using the american PIT manoeuvre the greenies and left win socialist will be screaming about police brutality putting others on the road at much greater risk. Think about it PIT swipes the car causing it to loose control allowing police to close in. ACT roads are lined with big trees or houses so its almost certain fertalities will rise. Reports show the impact was clocked at over 150km/h. A PIT manoeuvre at that speed would have sent the car into the car wash area along side canberra ave (across on coming traffice), into the centrelink symonston building, caravans or even up onto the highway for a head on with another car. its a freak accident that the police tried to stop. its great the twat was killed but terrible he took others with him. i feel sorry for the police that would have continued to follow at a slow speed and lights off that would have watched them wipe the family out. then arrive at the scene moments later to see 3 people ripped in half due anothers ignorance. maybe they should do things like they do in cali, just shower the car in bullets until the occupants are shoot dead. certainly wont allow for repeat offences -
Spotted a bayside vspecii this morning going up erindale dr. Running terribly rich blowing heaps of smoke and the back was black from the exhaust!

how can you say they can afford to buy helicopters for the occasional high speed chase when they can't afford to have enough cadets in uniform patroling the streets? also how can you say they were not orgainised? its only in movies that a police chase will run like clock work. we do not have the resources to run that many police cars at one time nor have the men to comlete such tasks. you need to factor in real life issues such as the drivers attitude, cars around are not stunt drivers that know when to duck our of the way at that perfect moment. At the end of the day it was a tragic loss. And part of me inside makes me wish that the driver of the vehicle survived and his gf died. that way he could be made example of and recieve 4 life sentances for coupable driving. the poor family that became collateral i feel for their familes and friends. But in know way can the police be held responsible for trying to make the streets safe. if police cant chase someone like this idiot on saturday night then crims will only get worse knowing that they will almost have a right of passage on the roads to do whatever they want. -
welcome to world of big power Kat...it never ends haha

so i take it there wont be any 34 gtrs with you guys?
-
haha i meant the car show not the company lol

can i just ask why you would want to remove it? I've removed all the internal deadening in my supra and replaced it with dynamat. by the time i remvoed it from the fire wall, transmission tunnel, seat wells, rear seat, pillars and boot i had a couple 9L buckets. all up it would have saved maybe less than 10kgs to the car. If you doing it to save weight dont bother as it wont make a noticable difference. it will just allow your exhaust to resionate throught the cabin. if you want to remove sound deadening to make weight savings get the car up on a hoist and grind off all the under car deadening. it is a terrible job and will take a long time. once you grind it down to bare metal you will need to at least paint it again to avoid rust etc. PS are you going to shannons?

haha traction is not the issue...i have 12" wide rear wheels with expensive tyres to keep the car on the road. the issue is the big ass turbo that even if it wasnt polished is pure cop bait. i like the idea of 500hp with a semi stock air box
-
I love this car. saw it in HPI and keep going back to look at it over and over! perfect streeter! I'd take it now if i could get rid of my wide body supra! 600hp must be to much for people to look at it haha
-
yeah ill swing past and give some s**t to reece oh and $1000 will get you one rear tyre on the supra lol

I am currently looking at purchasing a 34 vspecii (possibly a nur). Unfortunately i took my supra too far rendering it really useless on the street with a wide body and 600+hp. I was wondering if any 34 gtr owners out there would like to take a toyota lover and possible convert them to nissan. i have never even sat inside one let alone understand how it drives. so...whose keen?
-
see this is my dilemma. I would like to upgrade to a r34 nur possibly in jade or midnight. something relatively stock with perhaps a few basic upgrades like exhaust or nismo wheels etc but... I need to get rid of my 630hp TRD wide body supra first! any takers?? It been getting built for 2 years and, well, im completely over it now. I had a look at global auto and they seem to have some great examples avaliable. i just think they have too many mods...removing it from a possible daily driver type car...
-
It's certainly going to be a fun day to see some great street cars of all sizes!
-
this should be the first event that i can finally getmy car to after 2 years in the build woot woot. keep an eye out for a grey TRD wide body supra with lots of shiney bit on it haha

Spotted a white 32 4 door with a black boot and fuel cap cover driving from holy family all the way to Gordon direction driving like a granny around corners but would give it a hit (if they manage to be in the correct gear exiting the corner) on the short straight bits...then I believe a black 34 was up my arse while I followed the 32 who then followed them further when I turned off. And wow my grammer is terrible haha ps I was in the black ute
-
spotted a black 32 giving it a hit at the canberra hospital lights against a white is200. the 32 must have been shocked to see the lexus fly ahead with a screamer pipe oh and im +3 for suga cube coffee being terrible!
-
Ill be there with the supra boys!
-
not over the next couple weeks my friend

You could start another look into the skyline vs supra comp again. This year there seems to be a lot of cars back on the road built for all different types of driving styles...
-
harsh man harsh! haha i've waited nearly 2 years to be able to say that lol
