I think it's pretty well proven a (very?) modded 32/33/34 can make a 35 look underpowered and heavy.... and considerably cheaper until people throw caution to the wind and mod the VR38 to levels the RB26 just can't get to Mature people give the love for anything nice though!

I doubt thats gonna hurt anyone. I also really dont think I should lose my car over that. Could have happened in anything, but being an import the chances of you getting owned by the lovely police is supposedly a lot higher. I'm all for serious punishment for serious callous crimes. Car crushing for having fun in a car is ridiculous. There should be some lenience given for attitude, and mainly for an actual amount of risk/danger that the behaviour actually causes. Doing 160kmh in a 60 zone, prob not advisable Doing 130 in a 110 zone, very low risk if you're even semi awake Accidental burnout at the lights = rolled eyes, and practically no danger. Chances of something like this being implemented = 0

4 doors are only 20kg heavier. To me, a 2dr is f**king stupid in GTT form. 2 door = GTR or GTFO (my opinion) You wont lose any performance in the long run (someone correct me if I'm wrong), and you will be thankful every time you go near the rear doors. Resale value of a N/A is almost zero. GTT sedan (and GTT in general) is fast becoming almost zero. Get a turbo, and wait and spend the money on a nice one so you don't have regrets later on. Its a buyers market, so be a smart buyer.

Please do not attempt to get a N/A R34 GT and put a turbo in it. (see sig!) When I got mine, it was an utter NA+T abortion because I didn't really have the knowledge (suppose, couldnt have been helped as I did get it checked by stateroads) That said Checking out a lot more cars would have made all the difference in the world, so shop around. (or buy mine if I ever get mine back lolz)

Yes, but the real differences here for general use in windows etc are seconds, or fractions of a second.. if he's going to be looking at things like RAID or Overclocking I'm not entirely sure he would have made this thread

With a good 300rwkw GTR in a responsive setup, is it much quicker than 4's though? 3's? high 2's similar to R35's (less weight, similar weight ratio etc?) Would never consider a WRX in such a scenario

For what its worth.. this was actually tried and still isnt working with turbo OR manual ECU, with N/A Loom, Turbo auto loom, or turbo manual loom

+1 for what Nismo put up there. The only real difference is performance of the computer. This may be what your friend was referring to in 'lower quality spec' and it is pretty much true. This only really holds true at the very high end of things, essentially only for high end brand new games with all the pretty things turned on. Your top of the line PC will always beat the top of the line Laptop, due to .. well, size, heat, etc. The actual laptop case is rather limiting. HOWEVER, if you aren't using your PC/laptop for hardcore gaming, you won't notice any difference between the two. It's like a car that is stupidly quick from 100-200kmh, but the same 0-100.. when you only drive at legal speeds.

Boobs for $12k is something that is well worth spending the money on compared to car mods... wise choice getting that done before 180K on a R35 (feel free to add me to the growing PM list!)

Yeah, as below, with NIstune it appears (visually) as though it is, infact, a stock ECU. Except you'd have an AM AFM. Which can be explained in no other fashion other than something illegal being changed. I guess that depends entirely on whether NISTune gets by Victoria's EPA people. Cause if you had highflow turbo(s), NISTune, highflow injectors (or appropriately coloured ones) the only visually defectable or 'wrong' item would be AFM's.. which, on their own, arent specifically excluded. Probably a discussion for the VIC EPA thread though..

Does the AFM fall into the same rule? I didn't see anything regarding AFM's other than that they have to exist (but can be moved). So I presume this falls into the "Its a different AFM, so ECU/Injectors or something else illegal must have been changed"
