  1. What possible reason could they have for knocking that back ?
  2. Yeah, None of which I actually stated in my post but thanks for the inference. My issue was with the total lack of understanding shown in the reasoning people were putting forward when they were purporting the benefits of a RWD race car. Notice, I didn't actually give my opinion one way or another ?
  3. God this thread is f**king retarded.
  4. Yeah the restrictors are gone but in 2012 so will AWD...
  5. Guys, If you look at not only F1 but pretty much any major motor sport category over the last 40 years. It can be plainly seen that intervention from the people running the FIA has killed or at least greatly diminished many of the great series (IE made them worse) Look at: Group A Group B (rally) Group C (Mod sportscars) F1 x 10 WRC The list goes on. Also, I saw a watched a preseason show about the ARC the other day, apparently AWD is banned ? LOL Just goes to show that the people who make the decisions really have absolutely no idea about cars or racing in general. Many series get by on the success and glory of their former selves ! V8 Super car, world rally for example. Front wheel drive naturally aspirated production cars as the top tier of rally in australia ? What a joke !
  6. Why buy an escort when you can have: A skyline ?
  7. Before I opened this I honestly pondered "what kind of sick f**k would actually import a laser" LOL. Then all I saw was a thread full of Eps and Soarers and it all made sense.
  8. I'm actually listening my way through the INXS discography whilst furiously fapping to Bathurst 1991. Try baked beans.
  9. The FIA benefits formula one in literally no way, that is all.
  10. Bump up your cardio bro
  11. Swear i saw a 34 gtr with your plates on coro drive a while back
  12. I say we all put in 5 bucks and get one of the Vic boys to gearbox him hahaha !
  13. move the idle around a bit, see if that stabilises it, worked with mine.
  14. Someone needs to get a proper floor going for GT-R's
  15. It's very cool, but no cooler then R34 GT-R's that a lot of guys have built, many of whom that are on this website ! Honestly, now, don't call me a hater for that much money I would build in my opinion the ultimate street R32 GT-R and invest the rest. And probably a DR30.
  16. Yeah, also true Zebra, Have a mate who is into evo's, he's forever showing me dyno plots of various turbos etc and you think "f**k on only a 2L we must be doing something wrong" but then you realise they are rollin' 30psi deep with 2.4 - 2.6 litres and E85 Lol. (on a yankee dyno ) there are arguments for and against but I still think that all the positive facets of an over-square bore/stroke ratio carry over to a charged setup, an example would be de-stroking the BMW E30 engine to 1.5 litres for use in their grand prix program.
  17. Lol... Lets fight !
  18. Yeah, but a 4g63 comes from the factory as a 2.0 Litre, with what I would consider to be a shit bore and stroke ratio. As to the comment above, this is somewhat true, but having a short stroke with a substantially larger bore is in my eyes a better philosophy towards engine design then an IMO inferior undersquare setup. This leads me to believe that the difference is in the head.
  19. tell that to the evo guys
  20. f**k it, I'm gonna run an accusump and wait till it blows up
  21. f**k you webber is not a hack !
