  1. I believe they have a different spline in the centre, so will need to have the shafts as well as they are a six bolt fitting off the diff instead of five bolt in GTS25t. I don't believe they are a 1.5 diff in the true sense but are a much stronger viscous diff. I could be wrong but mine does not drive like that. It will scrub up on tight turns in the car park. I also believe the housings are different but centres interchangable.
  2. Mr. Brisby, I may be your man. Let me know what you want for them.
  3. No car for you Ni!!! But if a few are going I might turn up to laugh.
  4. 1.33 on semi comps with suspension. What's wrong, no ticker? I did very low 1.31 on standard rubber with crap stock lowered suspension. Woulda had a 1:30 if the idiot in the TVR had got his POS out of the way. Gareth, I'll try to help as well but have to get the RB26 into the GTSt sometime soon.
  5. Got ya covered Pete
  6. I have something around that size on my 33. Don't know the width but 275's barely cover them. They rub the plastic shrouds in the right wheel arch.
  7. I'll bring one along mate.
  8. Crap Meg, that's really bad stuff. I had to fight with my doc for 12 months to go to the surgeon, then I changed to a new one and was in surgery 2 weeks later.
  9. That is a beautiful thing to see. I think I'm going to get a bit weepy now....... I cannot wait to see this when I get back to Qld
  10. Saw a couple of cars on speedweek yesterday that looked familiar. Leeanne Tander in the RX7 taking the wins from a GTR pictured in someones signature
  11. I like that......"nothing like a Skyline" We all know 32 GTS's are just a bastard Silvia To be honest I don't notice any shudder fom the front in the GTR, and I pull all sorts of stupid stuff when not in the public eye. Power off oversteer through a roundabout near home with plenty of boot on the way out. There is a little shudder on the front lighting them up in the wet in second though.
  12. You have to use wildcards like the * to make up 4 letters for your search.
  13. Neranderra? My brother lives there. Hates it!!!
  14. You have to use wildcards like the * to make up 4 letters for your search.
  15. West, why are you launching at that much? I use 4500-5000 for that there <------
  16. Just having a think about this. With the GTSt's I'd suggest keeping the same impedences to suit those computers if making a pack, but enough success is had using the GTR resistor pack to warrant anywhere from 8-14ohms impedence. Anyway, it could be an expensive error. Worth further investigation.
  17. Umm, this is a bit confusing from those figures for the impedences. Time for some research. Sorry Waldo, the voltage will always be the same, just the switching frequency and timing for open/closed will differ with rpm.
  18. I thiink they were called Nismo on the R32. Take a look at www.nismo.com.au for the UAS stuff. JP is on the forum here as boosted zed and has done some posts on the extrude honed manifolds.
  19. Across the injectors mate, sorry I forgot to include that
  20. Good point. 3/4 bar and a custom pin spanner then....... Archimedes said give me a lever long enough and I'll move the world
  21. Still seems a good price for N1 turbos. The advantage of the R34 N1 is the roller bearing and the inconel turbine. Just for interest, my turbos are steel wheeled stockies on the GTR, and they produce 260rwkw at 1bar with the stock computer so the N1 should do a bit better. While it's apart why not get some decent dumps and a set of UAS extrude honed manifolds? Of course it's more cash but the time is right.
  22. Pred, without being an expert on the subject, it appears to me the most economical means of producing higher flowing injectors is low impedance, while Nissan use an ECU that favours high impedence or lower current handling transistors. Waldo, just use a multimeter to measure impedance (ohm symbol or the horse shoe shape) then calculate the correct resistor to bring to the correct value of between 12-14ohms. Given the cost of the resistors is about $6 I'd say even $130 is a scam.
  23. He was asking about R34 N1 turbos, but I agree with your comment on the Vspec turbos. Did a conversion on the RB25DET with a pair and the front turbine let go at 5psi. Damned ceramic crap. The R34N1's use inconel instead of steel on the turbine wheel.
  24. I just measured. 2.0-2.1ohms so that means Gareth may have been letting the ECU see too much current. Then again that depends on the source for the impedence bandwidth being correct, and I believe it was Sydneykid.
  25. I recalled finding the bands for the resistance for low and high impedence, and given I was using the toyota 440cc injectors I based it on impedance of them. I think the band for high impedence was 12-14ohm and they were 3.3 ohm. More resistance meant less current and heat for the PFC to deal with as the earth switching transistors are inside. Unfortunately the front turbo blew 2 km after i did the TT and injector mods so I have no longevity basis for my mod.
