  1. Powder Coat only. Take the pipes to a local Powder Coater, tell him you want "Satin Black". He'll probably charge you minimum fee which is normally like $40. Tell him you want to do do it for cash or beer and it will probably be ever cheaper. 100 times better and more durable than paint.
  2. That is the famous BENNO of Racepace. He's tuned and driven God's GTR
  3. Hey guys. I have ONE ONLY set of R34 GTT Radiator Pipes in Blue Silicone. They were meant to be black but they arrived wrong. $80 delivered. First in, first served. BASS OUT

a 3 inch Magnaflow large cannon on 3" mandrel bent pipes should do the trick. I still make my power with one of them attached.
  8. My wife owns one. It's an EXCELLENT car. It's rapid, comfortable, stylish, an able handler and it returns excellent fuel economy. On the weekends when my wife and I go anywhere, we take the GTI, not the R34. It's a really really good car. I'd buy one again.
  9. PS... When I said that yours should arrive 'today or tomorrow' I meant to me.... Sorry. I'll get them out early this week.
  10. Hi Guys, Yeah, I was DECAing all weekend and then had my sons birthday party on Sunday so I couldn't meet up on the weekend. I have a Dutton car to detail tonight and maybe tomorrow too, so the Mini meet may have to be mid week. I'll say Wednesday at this point at Tunstall Square in Doncaster. 8pm. Sorry for the delay.
  11. Had an off weekend. Unhappy. Bass Out.
  12. Thank you James. I am your Padawan Learner. Is my force strong?
  13. Hi Guys, Okay, Melbourne people who haven't paid for freight and need to pick up their guides from me..... You need to give me a bell and organise a time to grab them off me. This weekend I'm pretty flat out after work painting my sons bedroom and Friday night I have a family dinner thing, and this Saturday we've got DECA, so it can be either Sunday, or early next week. We could quite easily do a mini meet on Monday or Tuesday night if that's good for everyone? The following people need to pick up their guides off me. VSUTE frx026 FLYSLY (B1) Mr Fanny Brycey Let me know what's cool with you guys. Cheers Pete
  14. Hey guys. should be either the end of this week or the start of next. The first group buy just received all of theirs, and yours arrive today or tomorrow!
  15. Oh yeah, Trader ratings would be tops
  16. Wolverine.... Um. yes whoops. The vast majority of you should receive your parts either today, or tomorrow. If you are outside of the Express Post regions, it might take another few days. Sorry for the delays with this group buy, they were out of my control. I did however run out of bags (cos of my stuff up with Wolverines) but I should be able to pick up some more bags sometime this week during lunch. I think there is like one person who is going to have to wait another couple of days. I hope you like em! BASS OUT
  17. Hey guys. Couldn't post over the weekend. Too much on. Good news........ The parts arrived on Friday afternoon. I'll be sending them out this week. The wait will soon be over.
  18. Outside the Committee Meeting at Leewang's house, busting the centre shaft out of one of them, and then pushing the damn thing across the tram lines into a random car park. Removing the exhaust system for tractor sounds. And the mercy dash back from DECA after my "Radiator Incident" to my best mates engagement party. SAU needs a Lada support vehicle.
  19. A CAI is there to enable the engine to be fed COLD AIR (or ambient air) from outside the car. Air that comes from around, say a pod filter, from inside the engine bay is always going to be hotter than air from outside the car. A partition really only sheilds from RADIANT heat from exhaust manifolds and the like. An intercooler works more like a HEAT SINK in that it stores heat until it can store no more and then passes that heat back into the air stream. for instance... Ambient air = 40... Intake charge after turbo = 120... Throttle body = 50... The intercooler have taken the heat energy from the charge air of 70 degrees. This will in turn heat up the cooler itself. Let's say then that the air stops.. Intercooler core temperature has risen to 60 degrees. The additional 20 degrees over ambient must then be passed back into the charge air. Obviously the intercooler passes air temp to the atmosphere also, but for the purposes of this explanation, who cares. CAI = air from atmosphere not hot air from engine bay. Partition = shield from radiant heat Intercooler = heat sink for charge air. BASS OUT
  20. Adriano... He says it's fully rebuilt and balanced. I rev mine with a standard bottom end, but with Tomei Poncams to 7800. it's still making good power there and only just starting to taper off there. keep reving it until it starts to nose over and see how you go.
  21. ME ME ME I did another commercial for Just Cars once......
