  1. 0.9 - 1.0 bar. Starts dropping at about 5500 rpm. RB20 Actuator with ghetto mod. Poncams.
  2. Bass = in attendance.
  3. I think you guys are forgetting that the more pads you put in a package, the higher the freight charge is going to be.... Titanium is pretty heavy remember
  4. How about a silicone one from me? I get them in R32 now too. Red Blue and Black
  5. I once saw the Orange Gallardo SLIDING across an intersection in Dandenong.... Didn't I James
  6. Ash. Yeah, I wouldn't be doing anything with the back end until I install this temp gauge thingo. But if it's only marginal, I wont be spending $850 on a few more kilowatts. Much prefer to put away for a HKS2835 ProS...... Cos benno says so
  7. you can drill NEW holes in the end of the rod that attaches to the flapper. I actually tried that...... But boost was, hmmmm, how to I put it....... VIOLENT! Boost was miles to quick to come on and the EBC couldn't regulate it. so I changed back to a more moderate ghetto mod
  8. no, you don't drill out the holes. I got a cutting torch and spot heated a bit of the actuator and bent it one way about 45 degrees, then spot heated another bit along the rod and bent it back the other way..... then bent another bit back..... Kinda like the ASCII 'art' below.... .........__ ......../...\ ......./......\------ PS. Ignore the . look only at the lines...
  9. What's the AR on the big one? It's fatter at the snail.
  10. Somebody get me some drawings and I can get them cut up, in whatever thickness and material you want. How would determine the effectiveness of the different materials?
  11. Yeah, I'm very interested to see this as well. LTHL. 210rwkw sounds about right from the STD housing, non high flowed. My car (and a few other highflows R34s) seem to max out at 250rwkw and this is seemingly due to the exhaust housing. oblivio we eagerly await your results.
  12. Cam's might have helped, but PFC Boost kit is the only boost risers, plus the ghetto actuator mod to hold the gate closed (as the GCG tends to rattle open a bit)
  13. This is technically incorrect Paul The R34 doesn't have the NVCS on the exhaust wheel. The difference with the NEO is that it actuates the NVCS slightly differently. There was talk that it was infinitely variable, but I have had this disputed by a couple of tuners. I don't know the exact way that it works, but it's only on the Inlet side.

  15. Hmmm. This might be the answer for my choking problem, but at $700 for the housing, plus probably another few hundred for GCG to re-machine to suit the existing turbine wheel, it could become to expensive to be viable. This is a very interesting thing though. I will soon be fitting a multi temperature display (from MearCat) to my car and will be able to view Ambient, After Turbo, After Intercooler and Exhaust Gas temp all at once, so I will be taking careful note of the boost level from my high flow where the After Turbo air temp begins spiking, to see whether the compressor side can take any more boost. If it doesn't run out of puff before the turbine housing runs out of flow, then there is potential for this housing to be trialled. However, if the compressor is all out of air before the turbine chokes up, then we have reached the limit on the standard compressor side housing. Food 4 thought.
  16. I run this turbo. The standard R34 GTT turbo has the "VG30" turbine housing. I run GCG high flow and some other bits and pieces and make full boost by 3000rpm, any gear, any time. Fat power curve. I highly recommend it, my tuner tell me that he's never seen one like it that spools so quick. She's a bit backed up at high rpm, but this is because of the size of the rear housing. it needs to be a little bigger to support more kw without running on detonation.
  17. Power Wheel Cleaner from Final Inspection. http://www.finalinspection.com.au/forums/s...read.php?t=1711
