Hey ppls, Taking from the "B" Piller brace thread...... and expanding a little. The R34 GTR has a LOT of extra bracing on it, such as between the rear shock towers (on special brackets welded to the towers) and a very solid looking piece between the chassis rails in the boot. I haven't got a pic, but the heavy looking bent bar bolts through the boot onto the chassis rails, basically where the bolt go to hold on the rear bar reinforcement..... It looks reasonably easy to manufacture, but before I even consider it, I would like to know if there would be a great deal of use? I can understand the bracing between the towers (even though not onto the top of the shock body itself) but not sure about the back. Maybe the rear brace would only be useful when combined with the tower brace? Any thoughts? BASS OUT

Hey Abcent I've got them currently on the rear of my can in 255 wide. I'm getting the fronts this weekend. They were on back order when the rears got put on. So far, I'm wrapped in them. I used to get full wheel spin on boost in first gear and I now get hardly any. In the wet they stick like glue. When cornering, I get much less lateral movement and when coming on the power again there's a higher threshold to sliding. To be honest, I haven't really provoked massive sliding because I'm on the roads... Deca may be another story however! They are soft to touch, but have a wear rating of 320, so they should last quite well. They aren't loud, but when spinning they don't squeel, more like a wail. I'll know better when the fronts go on, but so far, they get the thumbs up from me. And at $850 a set, you can't complain about the price. BASS OUT

Here's a challenge.... And a question.... And a statement.... No particular order Firstly.... Is the second throttle body a simple on/off thing or is it variable allowing a 0 - 100% position? Secondly, if the throttle body is a variable douvalacky, you could adjust the voltage going to it to allow a series of different throttle positions. Thirdly, could you bend the signal that goes to that throttle body to allow a 'slowing' of the power delivery more so than a 'forehead meets steering wheel' stopping of power delivery..... 6-10% slip is the best for traction......... Motec can do it.......

This is because the stock turbo runs out of puff.... Common problem.

Hey ppls. as my car just got sprayed and I got myself a new bonnet, I have a slightly damagesd R34 GTT bonnet for sale. It's in reasonable condition. It has a couple of dents in the front where the radiator and water hit it. It's got a light bulge in the front also. My panel beater said that he could fix it in a couple of hours, but I wanted a new bonnet, so off she came. It's available in Melbourne, preferable from Dandenong.... (cos it doesn't really fit in my car to take it home). $200 Oh and it's Silver and I will post photos some time next week. BASS OUT

They force the air coming through your grill to go through the radiator insted of hitting the radiator and going up over the top. The scoop acts to foce air into the snorkel for your air intake. They look Uber-cool. I have 1 Series I, 3 Series II and 1 Series I with engraving..... You know you want one.
